Happy Wednesday and the Power of Showing Up is Reinforced Again!

Hello and Happy Wednesday!
It’s a gorgeous day here in Southeastern Wisconsin USA! This last Sunday Roy took the window air conditioning units out and put them away until next year. I am able to sit here at my desk with the east facing window open next to me. We live closer to the lake (Lake Michigan) now that we moved here to the house so we have a better chance of getting a nice lake breeze.

I don’t have to drive very much anymore and I am really happy about that. I was just on the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles website to change my address on my Drivers License and it wasn’t working. They couldn’t find a record of my information. And after I verified that I typed in the correct information, I tried again and an error message came back saying that I filled in the Captcha Information incorrectly. So, it didn’t like the checkmark I put in the box verifying that I am not a robot? Seriously?! Now I will have to call them and find out what the next step is. However since, like I said, I don’t do a whole lot of driving, there is no big sense of urgency to get that done. There are lots of other more important things on my plate than changing my Driver License information. I am so not going to the local office to stand in line and pay a fee there for someone to wait on me besides the fee I will have to pay for the address change.

Earlier today I was on a webinar that I signed up for to learn more about Word Press. It is Day 3 of a 4 day Seminar called Geekapalooza. The woman running the event is named Julia Taylor. She owns a program called WP Rockstar

The link is to the original list I signed up for and I did attend the free webinar I just wasn’t ready to front that kind of cash for the program right then. I am looking for ways to do that now.

Anyway I have stayed on her list and followed her for awhile now and an email came to my inbox about this Geekapalooza event. I upgraded to get access to the webinars ongoing. I have two sites running on Word Press so I want to learn more about how to use it more effectively. Today because I was able to show up live there was a bonus given to everyone who signed up to the event. We are getting a premium Word Press theme free. And there will be a co working class for tomorrow’s session in which we will be building a WP site using that theme.

I was going to be on the session anyway so this was a huge bonus. Again, the magic of showing up is reinforced. Really cool things happen when you show up.
