Offline Gig Is Done. -- Back to my Regular Schedule!

My Updates Will Still Be on Saturday Though!

Don't get me wrong. It was a nice little boost for my income and I appreciated the opportunity.
I just don't like getting yelled at on the phone by cranky clients. I know I am not supposed to take that stuff personally. But who are they yelling at? Yeah, ME!

But now it's done and I can just be happy not having to be answering the phone anymore. I have learned that I really don't like being on the phone.
I really like being in my own quiet office and being able to control my surroundings. If I want to listen to something I can turn on music or a podcast. Or I can just have it quiet. LOVE THAT!

On Thursday I spent some time filing there. I cut up my hands a bit with paper cuts. And it was still better than being on the phone.

Enough of that now.

Going to keep my updates on Saturday because it just works out better for my schedule.

Spent the Last Few Months Doing What I Could Manage

Now I can do even more to work on building my online business.
I already know what I need to do more of and just need to allocate the time to get it done.

I've spent the days since mid-February just keeping up the best I could. I didn't stop everything completely like I did last summer. That will not happen again. I know how much further I would be now if I had just kept doing the best I could. A little every day is better than nothing at all.

Again, that is over.

textdivider.png

Progress for This Last Week?

Not too bad. I managed to get online a bit everyday. Did my Hive curation and tracked my daily progress with my goals.

This Week's Hive Power Gains!

image.png

I just increased my about 10 HP this week. That was from claiming daily rewards. Not a whole lot but still forward progress. My plan is to get to the 5000 with in the next couple of months.

I am 359.935 HP away from the 5000 or roughly 93% there. To make it by July 1st which is 8 weeks away, I would have to make 45 HivePower a week or 6.427 per day to hit the 5000. That will be a bit of a challenge. Or I could just increase my weekly fiat investment.

textdivider.png

Hive From My Fiat Investment This Week

The weekly buy on Coinbase got me $10.71 worth of Litecoin for which I then received 12.573 Hive from Blocktrades. My total Swap.Hive available to spend this week was 15.30679489. That was after I traded some other tokens.

I ended up using 13.715 Hive to buy:

  1. 10 HE-Index @ 0.5 Hive each. My new Index holdings total is 1494.70989537.
Only about 6 Index away from the 1500.

  2. 100 CTP @ 0.02715 Hive each

  3. 3 LISTNERDS @ 2 Hive each

And I left a little Swap.Hive to go toward next week's purchase.

CTP Power on CTPtalk:
Total as of 4/23: 46333.753

4/24 Claimed and staked: 67.597 New total: 46401.35
4/25 Claimed and staked: 14.829 New total: 46416.179
4/26 Claimed and staked: 16.62 New total: 46432.799
4/27 Claimed and staked: 21.144 New total: 46,453.943
4/28 Claimed and staked: 24.003 New total: 46477.946
4/29 Claimed and staked: 24.627 New total: 46502.573
4/30 Claimed and staked: 32.769 New total: 46535.342
Bought and staked 100 more with weekly Hive purchase: 46635.342

An increase of 0.65% this week.

3,364.658 away from the original 50K CTP Power.

Or 93% of that goal

textdivider.png

CTP Power on List Nerds
Total as of 4/23: 11,901.217

4/24: Claimed and staked: 8.505 New Total: 11,909.722
4/25 Claimed and staked: 10.635 New Total: 11,920.357
4/26 Claimed and staked: 8.666 New Total: 11,929.023
4/27 Claimed and staked: 8.086 New Total: 11,937.109
4/28 Claimed and staked: 6.269 New Total: 11,943.378
4/29 Claimed and staked: 8.279 New Total: 11,951.657
4/30 Claimed and staked: 9.006 New Total: 11,960.663

Even if I took away the 3,364.658 from here and staked it back at CTPtalk I would still have way more than enough votes to use on emails in my ListNerds inbox. It only takes a week to unstake them so there is no huge hurry to make the decision.

textdivider.png

ListNerds Staked on List Nerds
Total as of 4/23: 982.64

4/24 Claimed and staked: 112.314 (Sent a solo mail yesterday that was verified instantly and paid out at 93.320 and 18.994 earned passively from LISTNERDS being staked) New total: 1094.954
New goal: 1500 LISTNERDS Staked!

4/25 Claimed and Staked: 20.993 New Total: 1,115.947
4/26 Claimed and Staked: 21.393 New Total: 1,137.340
4/27 Claimed and Staked: 21.834 New Total: 1,159.174
4/28 Claimed and Staked: 22.336 New Total: 1,181.510
4/29 Claimed and Staked: 23.158 New Total: 1,204.668
4/30 Claimed and Staked: 23.208 New Total: 1227.876
With the 3 LISTNERDS I bought and staked today I now have 1230.876 Staked LISTNERDS. I took the chance to try and win 3 more but it didn't work out.

An increase of 248.236 (25%)

269.124 LISTNERDS needed for the next goal of 1500 staked LISTNERDS.
82% of 1500 goal

The Biggest and Fastest Increases Each Week are with my Staked LISTNERDS

I am spending more time on ListNerds each day so that must be why. The thing I spend the most time on is growing.

As far as CTP Power goes, I want to get to that 50K CTP Power to be able to give more tips each day. That is why I am going to move the CTP Power from LISTNERDS where I have plenty of votes available back over to CTPtalk. And then I will just keep staking the CTP that I am earning at LISTNERDS there each day as I have been. It wasn't that difficult a choice after all.

That is About It for This Week's Update

Have a great rest of your weekend. And see you next Saturday and throughout the week, of course.

The Hive goal one doesn't seem that easy, to be honest. But you have done great work.

Your HP goal is 5000, mine is 500. ^_^

The Biggest and Fastest Increases Each Week are with my Staked LISTNERDS

Same here.

Thanks for this report. It reminds me that I also need to write my own. A report like this serves as a tool to look back and evaluate our current progress.

That's a great point, @rzc24-nftbbg! Sometimes it's hard to see our progress and then we have our posts to remind us how far we've come. Another encouragement to keep pushing and moving forward. Have a great week! 😀

I think the move from Listnerds to Hive is a good choice if you have enough votes. As for me, I don't have enough votes so I am still building my Listnerds CTP stake.

Yeah, there is no way for the foreseeable future that I will use all those votes in a day even though I vote on every mail in my inbox. Having the ability to give better upvotes and tips in CTPtalk makes more sense for me. Have a great week, @jfang003!

Just thinking about those paper cuts made my hands hurt.

I like these update posts, I find them encouraging.

Yeah and all that paper sucks the moisture, what little there is, right out of my skin. Very annoying. Happy I can help to encourage you,. Have a great week and thanks for your comment, @metzli! 😀

Glad to have you back full time. Padding your coffers was good but it sounds very frustrating. Luckily, you only have to do it part-time. Thanks for sharing your goals. !CTP

For me the hardest part was getting myself out of the house and having to drive to work. So many idiots on the roads. Raining and no lights on on their vehicles. 😡 Once I got there it was okay and it wasn't that far from the house. Just happy to be back to my normal. Have a great week and thanks again for your comment, @rcaine! 😀

I feel you with the talking on the phone thing. i did call centre work when I was younger and now am terrible at calling / general communication! lol

Good luck with the goals, there seems to be a shortage of CTP on the market if you ask me! i think ListNerds is to blame. lol

That's why I never chose a career in sales. Ugh! The more use case that gets created the more that will happen. And it will just drive up the value. Thanks very much for stopping by with a comment. Enjoy your day! 😀
