Good you eventually learned from past mistakes. I know of the importance of having a good credit score in the USA for instance and that's something I should really look into here.
Here in Suriname having a credit card isn't as common, as most cards are debit cards. I don't know why that is though. I only know, that when you submit for a loan, the important thing is that you have a fulltime job and are able to pay off the debt and interest. There's some kind of formula they use.
I have learned many painful lessons in my years here on earth. Glad I learned them earlier in life. Have a great day! 😀
