Took a Day Off Yesterday For No Particular Reason -- Back Fresh to Do My Update Post Today!
It Wasn't Planned!
I got home from the offline job and had lunch and that was when I decided I wanted the rest of the day off. Feels great to be able to just do that once in awhile and not have to ask permission.
After lunch I got dinner prep started by making pizza dough for homemade pizza. I was going to just stop at the store and pick up dough or the premade pizza crusts but the weather was awful and we had the ingredients to make the dough. It turned out okay. I have to say that if the weather hadn't been the way it was, raining all day, I would have stopped at the store on the way back. My hubby was helping though so that was nice. He had to help me knead the dough because it was hurting my hands.
After All That Work
He didn't like it. My husband much prefers a very thin crust. We weren't able to get the dough rolled out thin enough. I felt bad because he helped alot with the prep. I liked it and my Dad liked it just fine. But I wished I would have remembered that my bread machine has a dough cycle on it. 🤦♀ That would have saved a ton of work. Next time.
I still enjoyed the rest of the time and didn't worry at all about playing catch up today. My step daughter is coming for a belated birthday dinner later this afternoon. We are having rib steaks on the grill with sautéed mushrooms and onions and roasted red potatoes. Oh yeah vegetables too.
On to My Progress This Week!
It was just a regular week this week. As in I did my weekly fiat investment of $12.50 on Coinbase. That bought be $10.82 worth of Litecoin which I traded for 11.545 Hive on Blocktrades. After a small fee to use HivePay Swap I ended up with 11.522 SWAP.HIVE. A couple more trades on Hive-Engine got me to around 11.8 SWAP.HIVE to use.
Increased My HE-INDEX Holdings
I bought 10 more HE-INDEX tokens to bring my holdings to 1484.70989537. Will have to set my next goal for this one soon since I am so close to the 1500.
Used the Rest of My Available SWAP.HIVE to Buy More CTP
I bought and staked 156 more CTP tokens for two reasons.
Getting closer to being back to my original 50K staked CTP which increases my voting power.

Hive Power continues to increase a bit every day. Just claiming my rewards as they come. Only 369.889 HP away from my 5000 Dolphin Goal.
Most recently I have been putting my Hive Backed Dollar (HBD) rewards into savings. Because no bank anywhere can touch a 20% interest rate. Going forward a percentage of my fiat investment every week is going into that savings as well. I don't really have any savings anywhere else and my checking account interest doesn't rise to the level of even a joke.

Taking days off is very important. If I wasn't loving doing what I am doing at the moment I'd have taken a week off at least.

I really enjoy this too! But I think it's good to just unplug once in awhile and refresh. It does take some level of discipline to do that and then be ready to come back and start where I left off. Thank you, @metzli! I have been here since CTP relaunched in 2019 and before the HF over to Hive from Steem. I did take time away two summers in a row for at least a month at a time. I didn't start the dollar cost averaging with fiat until late last year. Thanks for letting me know you found this on ListNerds. It's a great platform. I actually had a Business Membership from before the relaunch to what it is now. I just upgraded to Enterprise last week.

Right now and for awhile yet, I am just reinvesting everything back in to my business. So I haven't taken any money out. I was doing the same thing with my MAIL tokens. It's nice to send an email to the whole membership. With the Enterprise Membership I get one SOLO a month. Now I have to get some emails into the automailer. That's where I have been slacking. Yes, 10% is a very small number. Except when you're giving it to the government to pay taxes. LOL Have a great day.

Took the day off, but some production on the blockchain came of it and that's the best of both worlds. We don't ever want to exhaust ourselves and it becoming a chore. That is what our 9 to 5 jobs are for lol.

Congrats for an improntu day off! Also I believe those consistant fiat -> crypto purchases will pay off big time, if you trade them back to fiat at the right time. Just make sure to use that fiat well, since the trusted USD is becoming less and less trusted, if you know what I mean.

I didn't have plans to acquire huge ctp chunk so i only bought 800 months ago but after joining listnerd, i realized i need to add ctp to list of my favorite tokens..

How do you keep track of your daily numbers in CTP talk? I understand how to get listnerds but I didn't know there was a way to see your daily for ctp.
Yeah, that 20% is awesome. I've been adding a little here & there but I plan to get it up to at least $100 soon so I can get some of that too.

It was only a temporary and part time day job. I only did it because it was for family. I wasn't even looking at the the time. It was challenging to fit things in. Had to prioritize more carefully to get the important stuff in. For CTPtalk I login and see what I have to stake for the day. I don't redeem the rewards manually.
