Crypto Is Life Insurance

All this FUD doesn't make sense to me.

At all. I mean we are all very lucky to be part of this revolutionary movement since the early days, so I believe that the majority of crypto users need to stop being so short-sighted and think long-term. It's been roughly 12 years since the creation of the Bitcoin protocol that opened a new chapter in international finance and gave the ordinary man the weapons needed to fight the corrupt institutions that have been stealing from us since forever, and even though we have witnessed amazing things in such a short period of time, it's safe to say that we haven't seen anything yet.

I do realize that waking up to a bleeding market is not exactly what you would call the best feeling in the world, but if you take a moment to think about the fact that we are still approximately 500% up compared to 365 days ago, then I'm sure you will agree with me: all this FUD is totally unreasonable. We, crypto people, belong to a special category of investors; we are never satisfied. We have all heard all those stories about crypto-lambos and such, and tend to believe that it's easy to gather millions in a few months time. Yeah, that's not the case, and even the people who made it and generated insane amounts of wealth through their crypto-related activities worked really hard for it.

Staying ahead of time and tuned with the latest technological developments is very time-consuming, and the people who jumped in the crypto game were paying close attention. They were spending massive amounts of time doing research, consuming content, exchanging ideas over the internet and expanding their network. We live in the information age and there's a plethora of knowledge regarding anything and everything that might interest you, but it takes effort in order to consume all that knowledge and be in a position to know how to filter out all the trash flying around out there. This is hard work, and nobody ever talks about this fact. We only tend to notice the positive results yielded by the efforts of such devoted individuals.

All great things in life take effort.

And patience. The fact that you are reading these lines means that you've done your part. You are already roaming around the crypto realm, and chances are that nobody forced you to join the space. Actually, even though I do not know anything about you, I am positive that you found your way here on your own. As far as I'm concerned, nobody took me by the hand and guided me through the ever-growing crypto industry and the countless possibilities it offers. I kept digging the web and learning from other users' experiences, and spent long, sleepless nights in order to acquire all the precious knowledge of the game I do possess now. And it's been totally worth it.

I've been able to generate income from the safety of my home for years now, and as the years go by, I'm getting better at it. I earn by blogging, curating, performing tasks, visiting faucets, watching videos, listening to music, mining, hitting search engines, handing out free tips, consuming content, staking, yield-farming, etc. I could go on for another two paragraphs or so, and I'm just another guy out there. I'm no God, and I definitely don't know it all. There's certainly a lot more to learn, so I can't help but think that the crypto frenzy of our time is a truly big deal. It has already made it easy for the average individual to make ends meet without needing an employer, and that's no joke in today's world.

market 1 year ago.jpg

As you can see in the screenshot above, the total crypto market capitalization was swinging around the $265 billion mark a year ago. Today it says $1.5 trillion even after the recent dips that have been causing all this FUD you see all over the place. This is insane growth, and I believe all of us need to learn to be a bit more appreciative of the space and they ways in which it empowers us all to find resources and cover our basic needs with ease. The market can't keep going up forever, so of course there are going to be dips and corrections, but don't let the red days play with your mind and emotions. Keep calm, zoom out and look at the bigger picture.

In an online world.

Bitcoin currently has the same amount of users as the internet had in 1997, and it's more than obvious that we are only getting started. The internet took over our lives by unifying all our means of communication, and Bitcoin and company have the potential to do exactly the same with our means of payment. We are now moving towards a fully digitized future, and the internet of money has a very important role to play in shaping the future of humanity. I do realize that there's still a long way to go, but I also think the world is now changing at a rapid pace. The ongoing pandemic acts as a catalyst for change and adoption, and serves as evidence that we as a species can take huge steps in a relatively short period of time if needed.

Doing crypto in 2021 is equivalent to browsing the web in 1997; it's still for the technical folks who like to dig things and explore new opportunities. We are still far from going mainstream, and I'm sure that if you hit the street and start asking random strangers whether they know anything about the crypto space, you will agree with me. The vast majority of internet users do not even have an email address they use on a regular basis, but this will change drastically over the next decade. In other words, all your crypto-hustle will definitely pay off in the not so distant future, so don't lose hope.

Keep doing your thing around here, and most importantly, keep holding your bags. Don't sell your crypto for peanuts. Just make sure you invest less than you care about, and sit tight. We have a long way to go.

I appreciate your attention.

Alright guys, that's it for now. Thank you for taking the time to read these lines.

Just my two cents. This is by no means financial advice. Just sharing my personal views and experiences. Please do not take my word for your investment choices, and always do your own research.

Stay safe and have a good one,
@lordneroo

You nailed it. I agree with you completely. This is a long term process and it is good to step back to see the bigger picture occasionally. We see many who do not do this. They focus upon where things are right now as if that is the end.

For market, there is a down as well as up. People seem to refuse to accept this. Instead they opt for the thing should only moon approach. To me, that is unrealistic.

Hence we just keep building. That is what the world needs and we each can do it in our own way. It is why crypto is open to everyone. We all have a part to play.

It is a chronic case of sensationalism that blinds people from seeing the bigger picture.
In reality, if you've been around for like 4 years, you're almost certainly in the green, no matter how red it gets.

The people making all the noise are ironically new guys in the scene.

I agree with everything you said. The best part is that everyone who joined the space before the end of Q4 2020 is still so far inside the green zone. Even some of those newcomers whining and complaining are in big profit. And we are just talking about a few months time. Blows my mind every time.

People tend to miss the forest for the trees, and I believe that's because crypto has spoiled us all a bit. We're kinda used to explosions and insane gains.

Funnily enough, we should still be talking about insane gains considering how the market has grown by 500% over the last twelve months, even after the recent dips. But I guess it is what it is, the space needs time to mature. Which serves as an indicator that it's still early in the game, if you ask me.

Thank you for dropping by and reading, and for the nice words of course. Have a good one :)

At the end of the day, I'm just glad to be part of the movement. No matter how bad the market gets, I only ever feel gratitude.

Same here man, feels great to know I'm building something stable for my future here. I'm not in a rush to cash out, which is why I really don't care about the fiat value of my crypto holdings. I just want to stack more crypto.

Thanks for reading!

All this FUD doesn't make sense to me.

Makes perfect sense to me. We live in a corporate imperialist empire ruled by fear in almost all aspects. It is the sharpest tool in the chest, to be used whenever for whatever reason. This all-purpose tool gets shit done, son!

The only way people are going to be able to break away from this fear is if they break away from scarcity. People are going to have to become millionaires before they can even start to even consider breaking away from the fear model. Even then, the fear of going from millions to hundreds of thousands is always there in the background. Seems like no matter how much we have we always want more. The road to abundance mindset is not an easy path to take and is contrary to everything we've been taught since birth.
