Crypto Is Not A One-Man Show

Elon has a lot of homework to do. For now, let him shill DOGE.

I'm sure everyone has noticed the infamous tweet by Elon Musk that probably caused BTC to dive all the way to $49.7k as we speak. That's right, BTC is down 12% compared to 24 hours ago, and looks like there's more to come, as the markets keep bleeding value. Elon is cool and all, but tweets like this one serve as evidence that he is not exactly what you would call a crypto expert. Time to stop paying attention to whatever this man has to say in regard to the crypto space.

As if using his huge platform to shill DOGE wasn't bad enough for the space, this time around he decided to take things to the next level. Maybe he is trying to completely destroy the industry? Only God knows what goes on between this man's ears.

elontweet.jpg

Keep in mind that he is a billionaire or trillionaire or whatever. Solving problems is a noble cause, but not everyone out there is looking to save the world. Investors only care about gains, and that's all she wrote. To be honest, I'm not mad at Elon Musk; I'm just pissed off with the crypto community that obviously hasn't matured yet. A tweet by someone who has millions of followers talking nonsense (energy/transaction??? - wtf) is more than enough to remove 200 billion from the total cryptocurrency market capitalization in less than 24 hours.

We are just getting started.

Not exactly what you would call a mature industry, and this goes to show that we are still in the early stages of the crypto game. As @taskmaster4450 said in a recent post, Bitcoin is just starting to penetrate the psyche of the general public. Is this good news or bad news? Depends on the way you see it. I'm still in accumulation mode, so a healthy correction works for me. Makes it easier to fill my bags and kills my FOMO.

Thankfully, Michael Saylor came by and dropped a few lines that make Elon's initial tweet seem irrelevant, but who cares, right? Elon this, Elon that.

saylortweet.jpg

I'm not here to judge Elon Musk or anyone else, just pointing out the obvious: the game is still in its infancy stage. Hype beats development, Tweets by influential individuals are way more powerful than AMAs and press conferences held by dev teams, and price action matters a lot more than the basic principles behind a blockchain-based product. We still have a long way to go, and if you're in for the long haul, that's great news for you.

Stop paying attention.

It's infuriating that people like Elon Musk can manipulate the market just by clicking a few buttons and posting on Twitter, but maybe this time around it will serve as a lesson to all those who keep waiting for his tweets in order to choose what to do with their hard-earned funds. Who knows, maybe in a few weeks he will start shilling BTC again, after he buys back in at a much lower level than he chose to exit after his previous move.

He will suddenly realize how wrong he was and stuff, and his enthusiasm will be too much to handle and not go public on Twitter about it. My crystal ball has been proven to work. Let's talk about this again in a month from now.

I appreciate your attention.

Alright guys, that's it for now. Thank you for taking the time to read these lines.

Just my two cents. This is by no means financial advice. Just sharing my personal views and experiences. Please do not take my word for your investment choices, and always do your own research.

Stay safe and have a good one,
@lordneroo

I believe that elon musk does not really understand the crypto market and the blockchain as a whole..

I think he understands what he does and says very well. He is just a businessman and investor, so he does and says whatever serves his interests well.

Thanks for passing by :)

I think it's high time people stop paying attention to Elon. He seems to lack proper knowledge of cryptos and he's just trying to catch cruise and shill his shitcoin

It's high time people stop paying attention to anyone in particular, including myself, and do their own research. Elon's interests are not aligned with yours or mine.

Thanks for dropping by!

Haha, nice one @lordneroo. Trolling takes a toll on people but I hope he will learn from this.

We are still quite early and Mr. Musk and the others will take their time to understand the space.

Those who get its vibe will take over the future.

Not SpaceX but Bitcoin will rocket humanity to MARS and beyond. 😎

Well i'm sorry in advance because my reply may make your day worse. So first of all i'm very proud of Elon Musk for addressing one of the problems that is bitcoin because there are several problems. Doge coin was ridiculous and i feel irresponsible on Elon Musk but perhaps he's now going to get more educated on the space.

Many of you all come in here to this space. You don't bring any significant value. What you do is you build these elaborate casinos then you get upset when someone shuts the place down. The fact that Elon Musk can manipulate the crypto markets the way he's done only shows how bad things really are.

It is because you all don't solve problems of significance. You mostly a gang of gamblers at best. In hive you come in here with your content that has a value of zero for the most part. You speculate on that as well. All you do is speculate and because you don't bring any significant value and don't know the value of the space. Anyone can come in and imbalance everything.

Why don't you all stop this nonsense and focus on real projects that people are going to use. Have a reason to use. Have urgency to use. Such things wouldn't happen if you built something of value and not just the latest pyramid scheme. However many of you all don't listen to that you keep right on at it. So these things keep happening and Elon Musk destroys your industry as soon as he builds it up. Make no mistake about it bitcoin is going to the dumps now because just like you all havei relied on hype and nonsense to build up its value like hot air it has to go the other direction now.

There is alot of promise in this space. You all chase gains over value and a wise man once told me you gotta help alot of people to make alot of money. Steve Jobs helped alot of people building that iphone. Many are on it reading this post right now or somewhere out there. You all have helped people to gamble and you have an addiction that you can't stop.

I know this because in crypto the best most useful products get pushed to the side for speculative gains and speculative gains only. As this is the game. The game is if people don't know the value they will overpay. I'm so glad. So glad Elon did that tweet to just show you all far off you are. The valuable good products are out there. You all miss them because all you care about is this glorified casino. I'm glad to see the hot air removed from you all.

Well i'm sorry in advance because my reply may make your day worse.

That's completely inaccurate. My day is amazing, and anyone's reply to my post could never have any effect on my mood.

Many of you all come in here to this space. You don't bring any significant value.

That's just your personal opinion and I totally respect it. However, I think you're overgeneralizing, and thus, I completely disagree.

Why don't you all stop this nonsense and focus on real projects that people are going to use.

You're overgeneralizing again. What makes you think all of us aren't doing what you described at all? You know little to nothing about anyone in here.

The valuable good products are out there. You all miss them because all you care about is this glorified casino.

Again. Are you spying on every single one of us or something? :D

Thank you for your valuable input.

Have a good day!

Very true, we will see him a month from now saying that there are better ways to use BTC and that he will only buy BTC mined with renewable energy.

And there he will sell what he has bought and boom $400 billion in profits.

This could be good for Hive. I wrote about this on my blog today. https://leofinance.io/@hivebeliever/what-now-for-crypto-elon-musk-announces-that-tesla-s-can-no-longer-be-purchased-with-bitcoin

Regardless of thoughts and opinions on Musk's tweet, this can be used to push Hive since our blockchain has always been mining with green energy.

Our blockchain has amazing potential, but won't get the chance to showcase it before drastic changes are made.

DPOS is the future. Only a matter of time until the world realizes this.

yesh the world will realize and with Musk sorta leading a ton of new people into crypto they shall find out very soon lol. Though I'd say like the non crypto world it's the same game of she or he who has the most clams will control things , is what it is and people will adapt or PERISHHHHH!!!!!! okay, dramatic but sorta true ;)

Blockchain is already used in tons of stuff that isn't dpos but in the medical or food industries for tracking, quality control etc....people tend to forget a ton of the silent users of actual blockchain , it has nothing to do with crypto at all more like....... Which vine or grape did this wine really come from and being able to ensure and watch quality. ( a very good thing imho)

The main point is to avoid the noise and look at the whole picture. Someone is getting cheap coins.

I wonder if his BTC bashing tweet was a misdirection play to create a dip for strong hands to buy?
Or does he really feel that BTC consumes to much power?

Nobody knows what really goes on in his mind, but it's weird how he only figured that out a few months after he bought $1.5 billion worth of BTC.

Agreed.
It’s hard to really determine motivations and if things are planned, or just spontaneous extemporaneous thoughts that suddenly became Tweets...

"stop paying attention, but i appreciate your attention." heh.

as for (energy / transaction), you can do that math and get a number and that's all that Elon needs to say "number should be X instead."

it's a club, not a reasoned position.

Very true. Also, gold mining consumes much more energy per year, not to mention the chemicals used and the various ways in which we ruin the environment by literally cutting through the Earth where we shouldn't be.
