Lost In The Woods

Greetings Hive folks,

Just dropping by to share some of my views from today's adventures in the countryside, and I have to admit that even though there was a lot of hard work to be done, I really enjoyed climbing these hills. Lucky me, I got to visit this spectacular site in order to conduct a topographic survey, and it was well worth it in spite of the fact that I had to drive more than 90 kilometers to get there. I feel blessed that I find myself roaming around nature quite frequently as part of my job. The perks of land surveying.

I had a hard time getting the RTK GNSS receiver to establish satellite connection as we were literally in the forest and there was no cell phone service. It is nearly impossible to access the internet around here. And rightfully so, if you ask me. Who needs pixels when surrounded by this kind of natural beauty?
