It's great to finally see some of the real gems of the crypto industry shine bright and slowly get the recognition they deserve. We have been bombarded with tons of bullish signs for the entire crypto space as of late, and Bitcoin is gearing up for the eighth green daily candle in a row. As a result, we see a lot of green in the market, to the point that some days all you have to do is pick an alt from the top 100 by market cap, throw some funds in and sell it back the next day.

If things stay that way we will be entering FOMO territory soon, and I can't help but think we would be exploring new highs now if it weren't for all the drama going on in the world these days. I've said it before and I will say it again because it can't be stressed enough: crypto has been demonstrating surprising strength lately. Gigachads with the kind of money to move the markets tend to liquidate and go for real assets in times of crisis, but that's not what we see at play with Bitcoin and competition these days.

We have probably not seen the real euphoria phase of this run yet, however you can feel it in the air; those who expect good things to happen outnumber those who predict unfavorable outcomes. This coincides with an increased inflow of new users in a time when the blockchain tech seems to be the solution to some of the world's biggest problems and, if you look at the numbers, it's evident that we haven't entered the steepest part of the adoption curve yet.

This time around crypto seems to be attracting attention for the right reasons, and I think that explains why we do not see that many shitcoins among the top gainers. About time. Well, I mean there's this Will Smith Inu BS trending at the moment, but Rome wasn't built in a day, right? We are slowly but steadily getting better with time and will hopefully kick that SHIB crap out of the top 100 soon.

RUNE on the other hand is one of the projects that needs to shoot itself into the top 10 and never lose its spot ever. Permissionless cross-chain swaps between native assets is the name of the game, and THORChain has the potential to drive centralized exchanges out of business. Total Liquidity added in all pools has tripled over the last 3 months and we are currently looking at $1.46 billion in Total Value Locked in the network.

The project is growing at a high pace and RUNE has been on a proper bull run as of late, posting approximately 50% gains over the last 7 days. Currently swinging around the $12.3 mark (native RUNE) with a market cap of roughly $4 billion and no signs of slowing down, and I'm starting to wonder whether I should exit the ETH pool and re-enter at a later stage.

As a matter of fact, I was expecting ETH to outperform RUNE, and therefore, enable me to exit the pool with more RUNE than I initially entered asymmetrically with, but it looks like RUNE is hungry for more. Currently I'm unable to withdraw liquidity due to some node upgrade taking place, which leads me to believe there will be temporary selling pressure once it's through, so I will wait for a mini correction before taking action. If things take off, I will happily ride it out in the pool and wait for ETH's turn with the major switch to PoS this summer.

There are just so many options that you can never pick the perfect play, so I will probably just chill and let RUNE do its thing. It's just the adrenaline rush forcing me to make moves at the sight of a 20% pump, but on second thought I realize that THORChain is just getting started. This is one of my biggest crypto bets and I'm thankful to @leofinance for introducing me not only to the MCCN, but to DeFi in general.

This is only one of the many reasons why I keep showing up every day. The knowledge that I've gained consuming content and mingling with LEO folks is worth much more than the crypto rewards I've bagged. RUNE will always remind me of where it all started for me.
