WEEK #16 🥵 Surviving The Heat

Summer has definitely arrived in the northern hemisphere, and it's strange to think parts of Canada have been hotter than it is here in Suriname for several days back-to-back. I guess this is the new strange world we live in, but we won't let it get in the way of creating some delicious recipes.

It's another week and another set of ingredients and/or cooking styles for you chefs to experiment with. I look forward to your tasty entries, but for now let's take a look at the best of the best of last week.

Roasted Cauliflower

by: @journeylife

This chef wowed with this super simple but very tempting roasted cauliflower dish. There's a 3Speak video instead of typical step-by-step photographic instructions, and that makes this recipe all the more easy to follow along. It appears this chef uses an air-fryer as well, something I've never seen in person, but they look like interesting machines.

Congratulations @journeylife! You are the winner of 25 LOTUS, 5 HIVE, and a 5% beneficiary of this post.

WEEK #15 2nd & 3rd Prizes

Chefs @blackberryskunk and @carolynstahl easily amazed me with their high-quality recipes. It's a sweet and savory combo, so of course I'd love to enjoy a little Massaman curry, then finish the meal with a hot beverage and these beautiful lavender and cardamom shortbread cookies. Nice work chefs!

Also, chefs aichel, kyleana, pravilsabu, and farmlife impressed us with some incredible dishes. If you're still hungry, do give their posts a visit, and surely you will be satisfied. Give thanks to all of you #NaturalMedicine chefs for providing me week in and week out with the highest grade #plantbased recipes on Hive.

Many frontends don't support 3Speak videos, I didn't realize Ecency had problems with displaying 3Speak video content.

Gosh, totally out of this one. I am not eating carbs, it's not apple season, and we can't eat onions. Or Jamie can't anyway. Dammit.
