Hello good friends of Hive, hope everyone is having an awesome day, today im reviewing the movie "Don`t look up", we had some time off before lunch with the family and we decided to watch it!

Hola queridos amigos de Hive, espero que todos estén teniendo un día increíble, hoy hare la reseña de la película "No mires hacia arriba", tuvimos un tiempo libre antes del almuerzo con la familia y decidimos sentarnos a verla!

Plot / Trama

The quiet an unremarkable life of 2 astronomers takes an unpredictable turn when one discovers a meteor of apocalyptic proportions that is going to clash on earth in approximately 6 months and they had to go on a quest to warn the authorities and the media about the gravity of the situation that isgoing to unfold.

La tranquila vida de 2 astrónomos da un giro impredecible cuando uno descubre un meteoro de proporciones apocalípticas que va a chocar con la tierra en aproximadamente 6 meses lo que ocasiona que tengan que emprender una mision para advertir a las autoridades y a los medios de comunicación sobre la gravedad de la situación que se avecina.

Cast / Elenco

I usually dont go into much detail in this section but this movie is star-studded, i will name the most notable ones and they are so huge that theres is no need to name what they are famous for since we could be here the entire day namings movies... The main leads are Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence, but you could say Meryl Streep, Rob Morgan, Jonah Hill, Cate Blanchett are almost Co-leads too... each an one of them does their craft perfectly, from serious to funny, you could say some of them go out of their comfort zone but they are so good and experienced that i dont think they have any of those issues at all. This is one of the movie strongest points.

Por lo general, no entro en muchos detalles en esta sección, pero esta película está repleta de estrellas, nombraré las más notables y son tan grandes que no hay necesidad de nombrar por qué son conocidas, ya que podríamos estar aquí todo el día nombrando películas... Los protagonistas principales son Leonardo DiCaprio y Jennifer Lawrence, pero se podría decir que Meryl Streep, Rob Morgan, Jonah Hill, Cate Blanchett son casi co-protagonistas también... cada uno de ellos hace su oficio a la perfección, yendo desde los mas serios a los mas divertidos, se podría decir que algunos de ellos salen de su zona de confort, pero son tan buenos y experimentados que no creo que tengan ninguno de esos problemas en absoluto. Este es uno de los puntos más fuertes de la película sin ningun lugar a dudas.

Final thoughts and Score / Conclusiones y Puntaje

So personally i really liked the movie, its felt like a satirical but still harsh harsh critique of our current society and times... fake news, social media, political divide, controversial presidents(?), mega corporations... something like this could totally happen and events unfolding just like in the movie while looking crazy at first you have to sadly realize they are scary possible. Cant tell if its a drame disguised as a comedy or the contrary, but i dont think that ultimately matters, i enjoyed and kept me interested the whole running time and really liked it.
My score is 8/10 entertaining and super solid for my taste

En conclusion personalmente me gustó mucho la película, se sintió como una crítica satírica pero aún dura, muy dura de nuestra sociedad y nuestros tiempos actuales ... noticias falsas, redes sociales, división política, presidentes controversiales (?), Mega corporaciones ... algo como esto podría suceder totalmente hoy en dia y los eventos se podrian desarrollar como en la película tranquilamente, mientras que al principio se ve loco, tenemos que darnos cuenta de que son posibles y honestamente atemorizantes. No puedo decir si es un drama disfrazado de comedia o lo contrario, pero no creo que al final importe mucho ese detalle, disfruté y me mantuvo interesado durante todo el tiempo que duro y realmente me gustó.
** Mi puntaje es 8/10 entretenida y súper sólida para mi gusto**
