Mortadella Flavored Breads with Cheese Stuffing for Dinner

Cocinar siempre ha sido algo que me gusta, en realidad cocino casi todos los dĂas pero me encargo más que todo de hacer el Almuerzo en mi casa, mis desayunos y en algunas ocasiones hago la cena para todos. Llega un punto en el cual me canso de hacer las mismas recetas una y otra vez, me gusta mucho variar en comida y hacer cosas bastante sabrosas pero diferentes. En esta oportunidad tenia muchas ganas de hacer algo con harina de trigo, nunca habĂa hecho una receta tipo pan asĂ que es mi primera vez experimentando y les hice este tutorial.
Cooking has always been something I like to do, actually I cook almost every day but I am mostly in charge of making lunch at my house, my breakfasts and sometimes I make dinner for everyone. There comes a point in which I get tired of making the same recipes over and over again, I really like to vary my food and make tasty but different things. This time I really wanted to make something with wheat flour, I had never made a bread type recipe so this is my first time experimenting and I made this tutorial for you.

250gr de Harina de Trigo Leudante | 250gr of Leavening Wheat Flour |
150ml de Agua | 150ml of water |
100gr de Mortadela | 100gr Mortadella |
2 Cucharadas de Mantequilla | 2 tablespoons of butter |
1 Cucharadita de AzĂşcar | 1 teaspoon sugar |
1 Pizca de Sal | 1 pinch of salt |
Queso al Gusto | Cheese to taste |
PreparaciĂłn Paso a Paso | Preparation Step by Step
- Antes de comenzar con la preparaciĂłn de la masa estuve rallando tanto la mortadela como el queso, para tenerlo reservado hasta el momento que tocara incluirlos. TambiĂ©n derretĂ las dos cucharadas de mantequilla para que se integrara mejor en la mezcla, por cierto no incluĂ la mantequilla en la foto de los materiales ya que se me habĂa olvidado jajajaja. Casi para comenzar estuve pesando la cantidad de harina necesaria.
- Before starting with the preparation of the dough, I grated both the mortadella and the cheese, to have it reserved until the time to include them. I also melted the two tablespoons of butter so that it would be better integrated into the mixture, by the way I did not include the butter in the photo of the materials since I had forgotten it hahaha. Almost to start I was weighing the amount of flour needed.
- Coloque la harina en un recipiente de vidrio, en el cual hice un hueco en el medio para poder añadir los ingredientes. Primero estuve agregando los ingredientes secos como la azĂşcar y la sal, despuĂ©s la mantequilla derretida y casi para finalizar la mortadela rallada. No me preocupe en sofreĂr la mortadela porque al final se iba a cocinar junto con la mezcla.
- Place the flour in a glass bowl, in which I made a hole in the middle to be able to add the ingredients. First I was adding the dry ingredients such as sugar and salt, then the melted butter and almost to finish the grated mortadella. I didn't worry about frying the mortadella because in the end it was going to cook together with the mixture.
- Luego fui añadiendo el agua poco a poco y amasando con mis manos limpias. Usualmente las masas siempre me quedan flojas asà use la cantidad indicada de agua, asà que tuve que añadir un poco más de Harina mientras amasaba la mezcla en el mesón limpio de mi cocina.
- Then I added the water little by little and kneaded with my clean hands. Usually the dough is always loose so I used the right amount of water, so I had to add a little more flour while I was kneading the mixture on my clean kitchen counter.
- Una vez la masa tuvo la consistencia que yo deseaba la dividà en 4 partes y tome una de ellas para aplastarla en el mesón de manera circular, ahà coloque el queso rayado, es mejor queso en cubitos pero este queso que tenia funcionaba mejor rayado. Después cerré el cirulo formando una bolita, asà hice con cada trozo.
- Once the dough had the consistency I wanted I divided it in 4 parts and took one of them to flatten it on the counter in a circular way, there I placed the grated cheese, it is better to use cubed cheese but this cheese that I had worked better grated. Then I closed the circle forming a little ball, and so I did with each piece.
- Tome mi mejor sartén, literalmente, lo coloque en la cocina y cuando estuvo caliente añadà un poco de mantequilla, rocié un poco de harina de trigo porque tenia miedo que se pegara y coloque los 4 panes, los cuales estuve tapando para que se cocinaran mejor. Pasados casi 10 minutos a fuego bajo, voltee los panes y cocine 10 minutos más a fuego medio.
- I took my best frying pan, literally, I put it on the stove and when it was hot I added a little butter, sprinkled a little wheat flour because I was afraid it would stick and put the 4 loaves, which I covered so they would cook better. After almost 10 minutes at low heat, I flipped the breads and cooked them for 10 more minutes at medium heat.
Honestamente tengo debo admitir que no tenĂa fe en mi misma porque siempre me pasa algo con las masas, pero, despuĂ©s de 40 minutos en la cocina intentando hacer lo mejor posible estoy muy sorprendida que hayan quedado muy bien. La receta original que vi en un Reels de Instagram y de la cual me guĂe para hacer esta receta tenia ingredientes un poco diferentes, sobre todo no tenia mortadela, lo que utilizaba era salami, pero trabajando con las cosas que se tienen en casa esta receta quedo perfecta. El tamaño estaba ideal, pesaban bastante, estaban suaves, el queso derretido siempre le dan toque especial y lo más importante es que no necesitan nada más porque están rellenos, solo una bebida para acompañarlo. Honestly I have to admit that I had no faith in myself because something always happens to me with the dough, but, after 40 minutes in the kitchen trying to do my best I am very surprised that they turned out very well. The original recipe that I saw in an Instagram Reels and from which I was guided to make this recipe had slightly different ingredients, especially did not have mortadella, what I used was salami, but working with the things you have at home this recipe was perfect. The size was ideal, they were heavy enough, they were soft, the melted cheese always gives them a special touch and the most important thing is that they don't need anything else because they are filled, just a drink to go with it.
