Exactly! The whole curation system isn't intuitive: the rewards of your post isn't actually yours (as half of it goes to the people voting), you can vote 10x per day on full votes, etc.
In the end, all of that makes Hive not newbie-friendly :(

It's true that isn't newbie-friendly and hive ecosystem is not about making hundreds of dollars since day 1, but if someone just post "today's rewards" without putting in any useful/interactive information, don't expect to get upvoted.
