My preferred style of shopping

Source

Greetings and thanks for visiting my blog. I hope everyone enjoyed your weekend. We're glad you're here. In response to today's prompt, "Online vs. Physical Shopping," I personally prefer to shop in person and make my desired purchases physically or get a service in person. Despite the fact that I detest getting out often, I prefer to view goods in person since internet buying carries a certain amount of risk.

The following are some benefits I derive from doing my shopping in person:

  • Possibility to test a thing out before purchasing and get instant satisfaction: You can touch and feel the items you are contemplating buying when you shop in person. Before making a purchase, physical shopping enables you to try on clothing, test out technology, and see things in-person, all of which may help you make a better educated choice. It's always best to shop in person since you can really see and feel the quality of the items you're buying, especially when it comes to items like furniture and kitchen appliances that you may want to see and try out before making a choice. Additionally, you can immediately take your items home unlike when you buy online, you must wait for the delivery of your purchases, which might take days or even months.

  • Returns: If the products are defective or expired (consumable goods), you can usually arrange for the goods to be returned to the seller without having to ship or waybill the goods back; you can simply go back to the store. If the products are defective or expired (non-consumable goods), you can usually see the goods yourself there in the shop that they are defective and return them immediately.

  • Shopping in person gives you the chance to engage personally with salespeople and other customers, forging friendships and connections that may be fun and useful since you never know when or where you might run across them again. Additionally, while shopping in person, particularly if you are buying the products from a small company owner or a private seller, it could be feasible to haggle over the price of an item with the seller or sales staff. This may be a pleasant and entertaining aspect of shopping, and it could help you obtain a better price on the goods you buy.

  • No delivery charges are required: If you buy in person, you won't have to pay delivery charges for your products. There is no increase in cost, and the price of the product or service stays the same, unlike online shopping where the price of the product differs from the delivery fee.

  • Less threat is present: Online purchasing carries a significant amount of risk. The majority of the time, fraudulent shopping sites and false payments online make you a victim of fraudsters or hackers. Additionally, it's plausible for hackers to access your account because of the sensitive information that is exposed on the webpage. Those risks are eliminated while shopping in person.

Nevertheless, going physical shopping is quite fun and eventful though.

I appreciate you reading, however.
Have a successful week.

Great post! I completely agree with your perspective on the benefits of shopping in person. It's always nice to be able to see and touch products before making a purchase, and it can be especially helpful to try things on or test out technology. I also appreciate the opportunity to engage with salespeople and other customers, and the potential to negotiate prices. Plus, there's the added convenience of not having to worry about delivery charges or the risk of fraud or hacking. On the other hand, online shopping definitely has its own set of advantages, especially in terms of convenience and the ability to shop from a wider variety of stores and products. Ultimately, it's great to have the option to choose between physical and online shopping based on our individual needs and preferences.

No doubt about online shopping having its own advantage which is also good. We all know every thing that has advantage also have some disadvantages attached to it. But as you said it's good to have options to choose from, whether shopping online or physically as afar as your are comfortable with it
Well, thanks for reading anyways.

You can return the product even if you buy it online. Delivery charges are paid by the company in many cases, if you buy online, so that should not be a problem, but obviously this depends on where you live as well.

You have made very good points.
I agree, online product reviews are sometimes insufficient. The texture and feel of the product I will buy is very important for me. For clothes, it is very important to see how it looks on me, so I usually go and buy it.

Good point too. Well it's good you have a choice to choose from. If online shopping works quite well for you that's very much alright.

I often shop Thrift stores in my area as a way of getting in some me time. I agree. It is better to shop personally so as to know that we get the right size ourselves at the first opportunity. I have a busy life. So I can't be bothered to waste time on returns.

Exactly my point though.
You have the opportunity to feel, touch and try out the clothes or shoes you are getting.
