2022 Great Britain 1 oz Silver Myths & Legends Maid Marian the second coin of the series.
The first coin in the myths & legends series was the 2021 Robin Hood coin you can see it below. I did a post some months ago about this coin when it was released you can see it here.
The 1oz silver Maid Marian coin is the second of the series Myths & Legends put out by Great Britain's Royal Mint.
The obverse features a profile view of Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary value of 2 pounds.
The reverse has Maid Marian with a bow and arrows on her back in Sherwood forrest, the weight, purity and year.
If I have my information correct this is a three coin series and I will be showing the third coin of the series very soon.

The Robin Hood is a good coin. It's the first time I have seen this coin. Silver Myths & Legends is a series of three. Maid Marian is the second. Third one must be interesting !
The third one is little John and yes it is just as nice I will be posting about it very soon.
Those are beautiful coins. The artwork and detail are amazing. Both Canada and UK have $2 coins ever wonder why the USA never minted one?
Yeah the Royal Mint puts out some nice work.
I have no idea, they tried the $2 bill but that didn't go over so well.

Yup and it was a real work of art. When I was a kid it was a lot of fun to collect them then 1 summer working at my father's service station I was able to collect 67 of them I was so excited, but this was back in 1985 so they were a lot more common and still in circulation.
