Dogecoin is superior to Bitcoin in one respect: While both were made for payments, DOGE actually gets used. These days, Bitcoin is treated more like a stock than as money to be used for transactions.

Regardless of how Dogecoin came into existence, it gets used as money, with people willing to accept it as payment for goods and services. This is the only use case which matters most, with any other use case being nice to have.
