Hablar de mis comienzos en el mundo de los videojuegos es sin duda darse un paseo por la historia. Tantas anécdotas de tantos momentos vividos qué con tanta frecuencia he contado en reuniones sociales hace que sea muy agradable para mí hablar de todo esto. Quiero agradecer a @sadbear por proponer esta estupenda idea qué sin duda va a marcar una diferencia al poder leer todas las publicaciones que hagamos sobre esto.
Por allá en los años en los que estaba de moda un centro comercial llamado "centro plaza" en Caracas, asistía a una tienda a comprar cds de música, y en esa época la tienda tenía concursos, te daban un ticket por cada compra qué hacías, y entre un amigo y yo compramos un CD y nos dieron un ticket. El premio era un Atari 800, y cuál fue nuestra sorpresa que días después nos llamaron para avisar los que teníamos que ir a retirar el premio!.
Eso fue el comienzo de todo hace muchos años.
Después de leernos el manual de usuario y escribir por varias horas distintos programas que venían de prueba, que hacían tonterías como mostrar gráficos animados dibujando unos mandalas; leyendo en la revista PC World y Byte, nos enteramos de que podíamos conectarlos a un servicio en línea usando el atari. Y allí fue que empezamos a probar. El típico sonido de una conexión telefónica con el ruido que todos los de la vieja escuela conocemos: Priiiiiiiiii tututututututitutu priiiiiii! o algo parecido, y luego de unos minutos de espera una callaver hecha en código ascii aparecía en la pantalla dándonos en la bienvenida: estás entrando al Skull BBS, un tablero de anuncios donde por primera vez tuve la oportunidad de tener la primera experiencia de un juego en línea, era un captura la bandera donde jugamos por turnos en el chat del bbs. En realidad fue el primer juego en línea que experimente con gente que no conocía. Las partidas duraban 10 minutos y pasamos hasta 6 horas todos los días tratando de ganar, pues el premio eran 5$ en PayPal.

Paso el tiempo y adquirí mi primera computadora decente(antes había tenido un ZX 81 spectrum, pero eso no califica como computadora), fue cuando entonces empecé a probar las mieles de los juegos en línea, conociendo por primera vez el Ragnarok online!. Allí pase horas y horas jugando con clanes y personas la mayoría de Argentina, Chile, y USA. Me hice un gran jugador especializado en los snipers (arqueros), y tiempo después me llamaron para trabajar como director de juego en uno de los grandes servidores qué existe todavía y se llama Atlantis Ro. También trabaje en Rivendel Ro, otros servidores españoles de los cuales no recuerdo su nombre, en todos ellos desempeñando el papel de maestro de juego. Fueron 15 años de mi vida que pase metido dentro de este apasionante juego, recuerdo las charlas interminables por Team Speak con 30 o 40 personas que éramos lo que formábamos el clan.

There I spent hours and hours playing with clans and people most of Argentina, Chile, and the USA. I became a great player specialized in snipers (archers), and some time later I was called to work as a game director in one of the great servers that still exists and is called Atlantis Ro. I also worked in Rivendell Ro, other Spanish servers of which I do not remember the name of him, in all of them playing the role of master of the game. It was 15 years of my life that I spent in this exciting game, I remember the endless talks by Team Speak with 30 or 40 people who were what made up the clan.

La verdad le digo de todo corazón que extraño muchísimo las arenas de PVP con mis 2 compañeros que aún siguen siendo amigos míos por Facebook. Y estoy hablando de personas que ya están casados y tienen hijos, gente de unos 50 años de edad.

Luego de estar por 5 años en el Wow, se me hizo muy difícil poder seguir continuando en el juego, pues no podía seguir teniendo acceso a la compra de las tarjetas para pagar el juego. Y entonces surgió otro juego al que le dedique como 4 años más : League of Legends.
Este juego resultó muy apasionante para mí al punto de que todavía conservo mi ratón y mi teclado gamers profesionales, exclusivos para este juego.

Logré destacarme como main jungla y soporte en este juego, llegando hasta diamante 2. Muy querido por los compañeros y al corto tiempo me convertí en entrenador de equipos profesionales de league of Legends, logrando practicar con campeones como Red Arrows, Lyon Gaming, Xpeke y muchos otros con los que tuve la oportunidad de compartir muchos momentos.
Sigo conservando las memorias de todos esos bonitos momentos en los que pase por los juegos en línea, Y eso sin tomar en cuenta todas las aventuras que viví en los foros de Harry Potter, avatar, Star Wars, y todas las partidas de rol qué eventualmente jugaba en boardgamestable. También el tiempo que estuve que fue muy poco jugando Hearthstone.
Y la verdad me encuentro muy emocionado por saber lo que me depara el destino en los videojuegos, realmente me veo jugando en un mundo virtual como el de ready player one o two, un universo de avatares donde todos podemos compartir nuestros gustos y disfrutar de todos los superpoderes que queramos tener.
Y sé que la humanidad tarde o temprano va llegar a eso, pero mientras tanto:

I still keep the memories of all those beautiful moments in which I went through online games, And that without taking into account all the adventures that I lived in the Harry Potter forums, avatar, Star Wars, and all the role-playing games that eventually played on boardgamestable. Also the time I was there was very little playing Hearthstone.
And the truth is that I am very excited to know what destiny has in store for me in video games, I really see myself playing in a virtual world like that of ready player one or two, a universe of avatars where we can all share our tastes and enjoy everyone the superpowers that we want to have.

Toda la grabación, edición, maquetado, retoque de fotos, elaboración del post y retoques son realizados en una laptop con 2 GB RAM marca Canaima letras rojas. Es una computadora de muy bajos recursos, bajo el sistema operativo Lubuntu 16.04 LTS usando OBS software para hacer las grabaciones y Openshot Video Editor para editar los videos.

What a good post friend, without a doubt despite its high price wow it is a very memorable mmo game, even private servers of this game are still coming out for people who cannot pay their monthly payment in the game, Also games like the one I mentioned would be metin2 are games that provided many good gameplay experiences, league of legends is a game that I haven't played much since I don't like its mechanics very much even though it may remind me of video games like age of empires a little hello from the cave❗🐻🎮🚀

Definitely wow is an impressive game, I have tried a couple of private servers and the real gaming experience does not come close to the official server.
The only private server that I enjoyed was a Russian one that was full pvp and with battlefields, I can honestly say that it was a lot of fun, but it was only a server with arenas and battlefields, it didn't have the game itself.
I have not played metin2 I will give it a look and of course AOE is another one that makes my delights hahaha, in the days to come I am going to start playing it, and in fact, I think there is a version for facebook that I am going to try.
