Crypto market report | SL Season Rewards | SPS 50k staked | GOLD FOIL GIVEAWAY inside

Hello Hive folks!

I hope all of you are doing well in your life and also enjoying playing splinterlands now and then. The recent unexpected massive dip has turned the crypto market upside down and everything is being sold for way lower then their price from even a week ago. I don't think the market will recover very soon, but it’s the right time to buy or accumulate as much crypto as you can.

Market Report

Now, Taking a look at the current market, the main 2 dominators BTC and ETH are being traded for 21.253$ and 1,126$ respectively. BTC went down 29.75% since the last week and ETH got decreased by 37.77% by the same time frame and together, both of them turned down the whole crypto market. Our hive snd it’s native on chain tokens also got affected by this unexpected and harsh dip. Hive is currently trading for 0.357$ per unit with a massive -42.9% down price since last 7 day.

The tokens of our favourite game splinterlands have also got affected with this dip. The in-game token DEC is currently being traded for only 0.0007$ per unit with a -0.4% price change in last 24 hours and have come down than it’s pegged price by a large difference. The SPS also lost it’s value of 0.1$ days ago and currently being traded for only 0.057$ per unit with a -1.38% decrease in last 24 hours. Vouchers however didn't lost a lot of value because of it’s low supply and currently being sold for 0.8$ per unit.

Season Rewards

Ok now, let us move towards the season rewards now. This was the first season with the new update format and I gotta say Splinterlands nailed it with their update. I was unsure of the outcome but the season rewards really made me happy after a long time. I finished this season in Champ II and with 72 Season chests. I could have earned better but electricity crisis and other real life problem didn't allow me to spend more time on SL this season. I even couldn't play the last hours this time because of electricity and couldn't even finished that remaining 713 Season Points to claim another chest 😅. But after the season ended and I opened all the reward loot chests with auto mode, I literally got stunned by the outcome. Ok before bragging about it, let me share the rewards first at below!

I got totally overwhelmed seeing so much of good dec chunks and cards at once. I used to finish every season in Diamond I and tey for the leaderboard positions. But this new reward system has attracted me to play in Champ tier again.. and the result is ground shaking!

To be honest, I can’t remember the last time I got multiple big dec chunks like this before the new reward system. I also got a gold foil rare and common cards, 1 legendary and a few epic and rare cards as well. I almost got 22k dec just from the Season chests for completing the season in Champ II with 72 chests so I am just imagining what would have happen If I got close to 100 chests and also could reach Champ I, the highest league before the season end. This surely increases the urge to play more and to develop and make you collection stronger. So, this is a very good update to me and I guess for the splinterlands as well.

50k SPS Milstone Reached!

Now, for the special SPS part, I have successfully staked over 50,000 SPS in my in-game wallet. I am feeling very mice about it as it was my goal for long to stake a good amount of SPS to become tournament ready in the near future. Yes, In tournaments you need to stake certain amount of SPS in order to play that particular tournament for normal file called tournaments the SPS steak needed is generally lower and within 50,000 stake limit but for gold foil tournament’s the limit gets increased by a long distance. However, I hold mostly common foil cards so I think 50K strict SPS will be enough for me to play gold and diamond tier tournaments. But I will be continue Staking SPS and will increase my stack. Who is still have 50 more days of daily SPS airdrops and because if the current down market, The price of SPS is also cheap and all-time lower if anyone one hour buy and hold/stake. I am also getting Daily vouchers From my staked SPS and recently used some vouchers To buy back more SPS in this down market. From what they have shared in the official white paper of SPS and from my own experience playing Splinterlands from years I know in long-term SPS will be a very valuable asset. So I think it would be best to accumulate and hold as much SPS as you can and except a great outcome in future. (not a financial advice)

Brawl Activities

Now, let us take a look at the last brawl results. We, the warriors of Guild of Neoxian played the last brawl at Tier III and have successfully won the first spot! This time, the Guild has won a total of 109 crowns and each of us who played the brawl and filled all their frays got rewarded with 6,056 merits each! Thanks to Mr. Neoxian, Officer Xawi and my fellow guild members for this awesome winning and all the best for the next one, which is about to end in next 18 hours. This time we are again playing tier 2 brawl and I will be back with my beta brawling soon.

Now, I was saving my merit points for the last couple of brawls and after the merit distribution of this one, I had total 16,178 Merits in my acc. So, I thought to open some gladius packs today and bought 8 packs for 16k merits. I opened all of them in a single transaction right away and below 👇 is the screenshot of what cards I got.

As you can see, my luck didn’t shine well enough to bring me a gold foil or epic / legendary cards with these 8 gladius packs and I inly got rares and commons. My heart got sad with the outcome and I had to do something to bring back the joy.
