Crypto market update & Gladius + Chaos packs opening!

What’s up Splinterlands lovers!

I hope all of all are spending nice day with your family and friends. If you have already checked with the market, then you are most probably happy to see a green market after quite a time. On the other hand, Splinterlands has also following this trend as we can see a little spike in sl tokens too. But, we are already in the middle of this current season and only 11 days left for it to end, so you better collect as many season chests as you cam can while completing those focus missions daily.

Now, taking a look at the current crypto market, it seems the while market has revived itself a little bit as both BTC and ETH is racing on a uptrend road. The main dominator BTC is currently being sold for 23,125$ per unit with a 20.9% price growth since last week while the other big giant ETH is experiencing a huge pump with 40% price growth since last week and it is currently selling for 1,504$ per unit. The HIVE token is also playing well with the dip and currently being sold for 0.464$.

Now, taking a look at the current splinterlands token market, the main in-game token DEC is currently being traded for 0.0006$ per unit with a +0.61% price change within last day. Soon, the tokens reward for ranked play will be converted from DEC to SPS so in long run, we may expect a good growth of DEC price from here.

On the other hand, the SPS or splintershards are being sold for 0.0544$ right now, with a +1.74% growth. The price of vouchers also have increased and currently being traded around 0.45$ per piece. Chaos packs on Hive Engine market is currently being sold for only 2$ if you wish to buy some now before they go to moon. Lastly, lands plot prices seems to have catching value again and currently being sold around 167$ per unit.

Now, talking about brawls, we, the splinter warriors of The Neoxian Guild have won another brawl and secured first place. thanks to guild owner Mr. Neoxian, Officer Xawi and all my fellow guild brawlers for their effort and skills which brought us here. Anyways, I was saving merits for quite some time and recently, I thought to buy gladius packs with them and open them right away! Well, I did exactly as I thought and here is the outcome from 7 Gladius packs that costed me 14k merits.

As you can see, I got 1 legendary, 2 epics and many rares and common card and also one hold foil common card. I was quite happy with the outcome, as I didnt expect a legendary on top of multiple epic cards for a little bit.

Now, today when I was writing this post, I thought to open some chaos packs for fun to see of I get lucky again and get similar outcomes like the gladius openings. I already had 2 chaos packs left in the inventory so I bought 3 more from the HE market and collected & opened total 5 packs at once. Below is the screenshot of what I got from those packs.

Well, clearly I didn't even get closer to what I expected this time as well, as from those 5 packs, I only got 1 epic card and rear rares and common, no legendary and no gold foil cards even after using 100% alchemy and legendary potions. But wait, what am I thinking.. It’s only 5 packs lol.. so I will just try with more packs next time, what about you?
