Crypto market update & Season reward openings!

Hello readers!

I hope all you are doing well in your lives and also enjoying this awesome game in meantime. The weekend vibe has started here already and I wish you all a very happy and energetic weekend! And on the other hand, the current crypto market is also showing strong and upward movements today and I hope it spreads a positiveness across the crypto community as we are seeing Red for quite sometime now.

Talking about the current crypto market, the main dominator BTC is currently seeing a good pump within last 24 hours as it has touched the 21,400$ price mark already and currently being sold for 21,238$. The other big giant ETH has also followed the spike well with BTC and touched the 1,350$ today and currently being traded at 1,338$ with a +6.4% price rise. Our HIVE has yet to see any quick spike but still carrying a good price of 0.45$ per unit with a +4.5% price pump within last day.

Now, let is a take a quick peak at the splinterlands tokens market and get updated with the current prices. The main in-game token DEC has grew a bit up 1.59% since last day and currently being traded for 0.00058$ per unit, but it is still way lower than it’s soft pegged price so I am expecting a green chart from here. On the other hand, SPS aka Splintershards has also gained a bit of a value and with a +3.83% price change within last day, it is currently being sold for 0.0499$. For Chaos packs on HE market, they have also gained a +2.19% growth in last 24 hours and currently being traded for 1.96$, which is still very lucrative to grab some.

Since the update of the new Wild/Modern formation has gone live, I have only played for a couple of Focus 🧘 days and haven't found anything new with the rewards. Today, I got the Earth Splinter as my focus mission and and gladly, I completed achieving 9 focus chests before the time ran out. Below is the outcome from those lucrative 9 chests, and yes, as you can see, the day didn't disappoint me as I got 1 legendary, 3 rares and 2 commons along with some decent DEC chunk.

I hope you enjoyed the ward opening that I shared above. As my Earth splinter collection is strong, I didn't face much trouble collecting those chests today and I only played for like 1.5 - 2 hours. But some days it takes hours of playing and burning ECR in order to get even half of that on a bad day. But, these little focus chests can sometimes be mind bending and could insanely increase your dec balance or total RP overnight. I heard days ago that somebody got 660k dec from season reward! Don’t know if that’s true but I think it has a good possibility to be true, cause….

Now that I finally got the right moment, let me share my Reward openings from last season below. I was very positive from the beginning of this new reward update structure, especially for the exposure to real players who play for a decent time and fight fore more and more daily and as well as season trophies, rather than throwing away big chunk of dec and good cards to farmers and bots who hardly contribute to the system.

In a longer transition, it’s also empowering the large portion of of splinterlands players to actually incentives them based on their Collection + Skill combo l. In one way it’s very positive and promising but on the other way, it will literally force you to invest more and make a stronger collection just to reach that tier above. Now, without further ado, let me share my season openings to share my happiness of getting a whooping amount of 166,464 dec for the first time since I am playing it (since 2018 probably 😅)

As you can see from the screenshot above, not only I got a fat chunk of dec out of just 66 season chests, I also booked a gold foil epic and rare and couple of other common gold foil cards and a chaos pack! As a veteran splinterlands player, I can’t express my joy properly with words, as even in my wildest dreams, I haven't allowed myself to get this much from a single season. Thanks Splinterlands for making this awesome update for us. 🙏🏻
