My latest Splinterlands focus chests opening & card shopping

What’s up my fellow Splinterlandians!

I hope all of you had a great time in this last weekend with your loved ones. As for me, I really had a great time with my fiancé and this Sunday, we really spend a long and lovely time together after long time. I went to Kolkata city which is about a 4 hours journey from my hometown and met her there. We had a delicious launch together at a restaurant in the city and also enjoyed mouth watering chicken kebabs.

Now, when I returned yesterday back to home, it was less than 2 days left for this current splinterlands season to end and I also had my daily focus left to be played. So, I fasten my seatbelt and started my splinter-car to ramp into the battlefield. I completed the focus with 7-8 chests and only got about a thousand DEC and a couple of rare and common edition cards from those reward chests. Now today, my focus splinter was Life and I wasn’t very happy because of having a weak collection in Life section. But somehow, I performed good today by using sneak strategy decks mostly and even touched the Champ II tier for a moment and finally completed today’s focus mission with 8 chests. Finally, I got happy with today’s chest openings With 1800+ dec and 2 chaos packs and 3 common cards. Getting 2 chaos packs from a daily mission is really rare for me and as usual, I will save these chaos packs for now so that I can open bulk amount of packs at once.

Right now, we are only 17 hours behind the end of this season and I have still collected 64 season chests so far. Not to mention that after today’s play, the ECR also went down to near 50% now so I will skip for tonight and play again next morning and will try to reach at least 70 season chests. Now, Let’s see how it goes and if I can accomplish that.

Now, let’s talk about my recent shopping on splinterlands. The current ongoing massive crypto downtrend has affected the splinterlands economy badly as well and many of the cards, especially the newly launched reward ones are selling for pretty cheap! So, I decided to buy some cards from monstermarket.io today, which is a 3rd party marketplace for splinterlands game and gives instant 3% cashback in dec whenever you buy cards from splinterlands market via their website. It’s a pretty old project by now and I am using it personally for years now, so it’s a legit project and also recognised by the official splinterlands.

However, I bought enough cards and made 2 max level cards from the newly launched reward cards. The first one is the Dhampir Infiltrator which is a sneak reward card that belongs to the Dragon splinter. I bought one high level (lv 7) and rest 1 BCX cards from the website and combined them all together and made a level 8. It only costed me 4.112$ to buy and max out a card from market, which used to be unimaginable for almost any card even months ago.

The second card that I bought from the market is Merdhampir and it belongs to the water splinter. It is a common edition reward card and needs 400 BCX of cards to become mac level (lv 10). But gladly, I found a max level pf this card in the market listed for only 3.98$ so without wasting anymore precious time, I first clicked the button and bought it asap and took it into my collection for only 6798.77 DEC.

I also had to buy 3 of the remaining airdrop cards that I am still missing in my collection and one of them is Carnage Titan. I saw them selling for minimum 10$ per BCX and only one card was available below 10$. So, I bought it too for 9.79$ or almost 16.4k DEC.

Now, as you can see from the screenshot that I shared just above, I made all of these 3 purchases that I shared above in the screenshot using the monstermarket.io website and got approx. 900 dec back as cashback! And 900 dec is not a matter of joke aay! So, if you haven't’ been aware of this awesome website, you may wanna try them out and save a few pennies every time you go shopping into splinterlands.
