Runi General sale in only 21 Hours !

What’s up my fellow Splinternerds!

I hope all of you are doing well in life and aloe enjoying this awesome game and completing your dailies in meantime. Well, the previous season has ended just recently and only 12 days and 22 hours left for this current one to end. Unlike the last season, we have less amount of time for this one so we have to make sure to use that with full potential. But ok the other hand, we have to also keep an eye upon the ECR bar so that’s it wont go below a certain level. Last season, due to having bad ECR I could only collect 41 season chests so far. This season as well, I started playing today with 68% ECR and after getting my season rating getting reset to Diamond I, when I played and lost some couple of matches, I went down even further to Gold I. Now, with only 59% ECR left and before the blunder could get bigger, I just stopped playing and now will wait again for a day so that it crosses 80% at least.

As you can see from the screenshot above, I finished the last season while at Champ III and from 41 season chests that I collected, I received Total 37.9$ worth of season rewards from those reward chests (as per Peakmonsters data). The best I pulled out from those bunch of chests is a Legendary death card Harklaw, a Gold Foil death ever-hungry skull, 1 chaos pack, 418.215 SPS and rest potions and merits. Clearly, the rewards are way lower this time comparing the previous season where I got 7000+ SPS just from season reward. But, I kind of expected this after getting that giant stack and will try again this season as well to collect as many focus and season chests as possible, what about you?

Now, taking a look at the new trending section, the Runis are quite ruling that space. As announced in the official Splinterlands discord, less than 22 hours left for the upcoming RUNI general sale to go live in Opensea. Runis will be on the Ethereum chain and when linked with your splinterlands account, they will become a max level neutral legendary monster and can be used in all kinds of battles. Tomorrow, Runis will go live for sale for an amount of 0.38 ETH + gas fees. As per current rate, the price is equivalent to 575$ approx. and each ETH wallet can mint up to 6500 Runis.

Runis will be the first ever generative type NFT that is getting introduced to Splinterlands and each of the Runis ever minted will look 100% unique as building with over 2 billion combination. The total print of of Runis are also limited to 6500 only so it will be matter of time before they go scarce and rise in price. Below are some examples that I saw in opensea about how the runis will look and as you can see, they are looking totally different and way cooler than all the other cards that we play with. As for the Stats, the Runi will have 4 melee attack at 1 speed with 1 armour and 5 health along with 4 abilities - Opportunity, Rebirth, True Strike and Reflection Shield. The stat clearly dictates it’s attacking power and thou having only 1 speed even in max level, the armour will help it to absorb 1 melee or ranged attack before it’s taking damage directly to it’s health. runis will get a brand new ability rebirth by which, it can resurrect itself back with 1 health after getting died in a match. Combined with opportunity and true strike, no doubt it will kill down your weaker enemy cards one after another to help you win faster. I am also thinking to buy some ETH before the sale goes live and then jump into the sale and buy myself one of these real NFT gems. Let’s see how that goes 😅
