Cómo se vive el fútbol en Brasil [SPA/ENG]

Yo no sé si esto ocurre en todas partes, pero aquí en Brasil el fútbol se vive con pasión, la gente ama su selección de fútbol, celebran cada gol como si fuera el último, desde el primer juego que tuvieron en el mundial hemos visto celebraciones grandes en las calles, la gente se viste con la camisa de la selección, se pintan la cara, adornan las calles, y en cada gol, inclusive en cada intento de gol ya tienen los fuegos artificiales preparados para conmemorar!

Lo que más me impresionó es que cuando Brasil va a jugar, el país se detiene, literalmente se detiene para apoyar a su equipo, por ejemplo, mi hija que estudia en el turno de la tarde en la escuela, no tuvo clases esos días, aun cuando los primeros juegos eran a las 4 pm hora local, y en el caso de mi esposo, sencillamente lo liberaron desde el mediodía del trabajo para que fuera a ver y apoyar el juego de Brasil! esto me dejó impresionada, quizás por que en Venezuela nunca hemos ido al mundial y por lo tanto esto no sucede asi alla, pero aqui todo gira en torno al partido de fútbol del dia.

El “bom día” se convierte en “bom jogo” y cualquier equipo que le gane a Brasil se convierte en el equipo al que no apoyan en otras partidas, así Brasil no esté jugando. También todo el mundo se siente técnico del equipo, dan sugerencias y suposiciones de lo que debería haber hecho “Tite” (el Director técnico de la selección de Brasil). De hecho hay polémicas entre los comentaristas deportivos de tv, pues se emocionan tanto que llegan a decir groserías, o “xingar” al técnico cuando no estan de acuerdo con las decisiones que tome dirigiendo al equipo, es muy gracioso, además de que los goles que hace el equipo contrario son claramente no conmemorados. En fin, es surreal lo que se vive aquí, hasta los más pequeños se les ve en la calle con su uniforme del equipo y con su banderita en la mano “torcendo” por Brasil, es decir el brasilero nace amando al futbol.

Por otra parte, esto es sinónimo de comercio, pues los bares y restaurantes adecuan sus espacios con motivos de Brasil, adornan todo con la bandera, la copa y balones de fútbol, ponen varios televisores pantalla gigante, para que las personas vayan allí a consumir bebidas y comida viendo el juego a todo color.

En fin, es emocionante y contagiante el ambiente de copa del mundo que se vive aquí, a pesar de que el equipo no pasó los cuartos de final, aun asi la gente se gozó cada juego, de principio a fin, y aun siguen torciendo para que Argentina no gane jajaja, literalmente nos sucedio que ayer estabamos en un centro comercial, en el área de comida, viendo los juegos en la pantalla gigante y en el de Argentina Vs Holanda, fue una alboroto de celebración grandísimo cuando Holanda empató el juego en los 30 segundos finales del tiempo adicional, es que la pasión del brasilero no tiene límites cuando se trata de fútbol, fue como sacarse la rabia de haber perdido contra croacia horas antes. Aun así nos alegra que ganara Argentina en los penales, esperemos que siga en el juego hasta el final, al menos para tener un representante de América latina en la copa.

Desde el principio de la copa queria hacerles esta reseña de cómo se vive el fútbol en brasil lamento no compartirles fotos pero es que en realidad no me atreví a tomarle fotos a la gente, y la primera semana del mundial estuvimos encerrados en casa por que nos dio covid a los tres,aunque sí se escuchaban dentro de nuestra casa las celebraciones que hacía la gente en la calle, pero ayer si lo vivimos en carne propia y fue espectacular, lamentamos que Brasil perdiera,, mi esposo sobre todo porque ya no tendrá tardes libres jajaja, pero en fin fue divertido y esperamos que gane el mejor al final.

What impressed me the most is that when Brazil is going to play, the country stops, literally stops to support their team, for example, my daughter who studies in the afternoon shift at school, had no classes those days, even though the first games were at 4 pm local time, and in the case of my husband, they simply released him from work at noon to go to see and support the Brazil game! This left me impressed, maybe because in Venezuela we have never been to the world cup and therefore this does not happen there, but here everything revolves around the futbol game of the day.

The "bom dia" becomes "bom jogo" and any team that beats Brazil becomes the team they don't support in other games, even if Brazil is not playing. Also everyone feels they are the team's coach, they give suggestions and assumptions of what "Tite" (the coach of Brazil's national team) should have done. In fact, there are controversies among the TV sports commentators, because they get so excited that they even swear or "xingar" the coach, it is very funny, besides the fact that the goals scored by the opposing team are clearly not commemorated. In short, it is surreal what is lived here, even the little ones are seen in the street with their team uniform and with their little flag in their hand "torcendo" for Brazil, that is to say, the Brazilian is born loving futbol.

On the other hand, this is synonymous of commerce, because the bars and restaurants adapt their spaces with Brazilian motifs, decorate everything with the flag, the cup and futbol balls, put several giant screen televisions, so that people go there to consume drinks and food watching the game in full color.

Anyway, it is exciting and contagious the world cup atmosphere that is lived here, even though the team did not pass the quarterfinals, even so people enjoyed every game, from start to finish, and even continue to twist so that Argentina does not win hahaha, literally happened to us that yesterday we were in a shopping mall, in the food area, watching the games on the giant screen and in the Argentina vs Holland game, it was a huge celebration when Holland tied the game in the final 30 seconds of the extra time, the Brazilian's passion has no limits when it comes to futbol, it was like getting rid of the rage of having lost against Croatia hours before. Even so, we are glad that Argentina won on penalties, let's hope they stay in the game until the end, at least to have a representative from Latin America in the cup.

Since the beginning of the World Cup I wanted to give you this review of how futbol is lived in Brazil, I'm sorry for not sharing pictures but I didn't really dare to take pictures of the people, and the first week of the World Cup we were locked up at home because the three of us were afraid, although we could hear inside our house the celebrations that people were doing in the street, but yesterday we lived it in the flesh and it was spectacular, we regretted that Brazil lost, my husband especially because he will no longer have free afternoons hahaha, but anyway it was fun and we hope that the best team wins in the end.
