Hello dear community, today I join the Blogging Challenge #Momlife, because when I read the topics you propose, many of them interested me and I think I can share my experiences with you.

Let's talk about cleaning the home, how to keep the house clean with the kids. Well, I am not at all the best example of order and cleanliness because it costs me a lot to keep everything in perfect order day by day, but I do make an effort to carry out all these tasks as best as possible.

When Isa was younger the chaos was bigger, because I had to do everything on my own and many times I could not keep the house clean, especially because I was a mother who worked outside the house, so I was tired in the evenings, and I debated between cleaning, resting or spending quality time with my daughter, in the end it was a total mess, but at least we got out of that stage well.

Isa is 11 years old, she is almost a young lady and for some time now I have been educating her to take on some household cleaning responsibilities, of course everything in moderation, at her own pace and with tasks that are actually easy and that she can do safely.

One of these tasks is to wash her clothes, she has it very easy because we have a washing machine, so in fact what she learned to do was to select her clothes, put them in the washing machine, put detergent and be aware that the machine does the washing cycle well, and then she hangs the clothes on the clothesline. She has been doing this activity for almost a year now, so that she can have her school uniform clean, which is what gets dirty the most during the week. She likes to do it and for me it is a relief that she collaborates with this.

Another activity that she is recently collaborating with me is washing the dishes, actually it is something that I don't like to do, I have to do it every day and I am resigned to it, but recently it happened that she started washing the dishes after lunch on her own initiative, she told me that she wanted to help me and I congratulated her, I told her that I won't even check if they are well washed or not, because she deserves to be congratulated for her willingness to help at home.

Now it is already a habit that while I am fixing some part of the house, she washes the dishes and silverware, I always tell her to leave the pots and pans or whatever she finds more difficult to wash for me. Although this last time she washed everything without telling me anything and it was clean.

You may wonder why this impresses me and the reason is that at her age I hated washing dishes, my mom forced me to do it, and my sister and I took turns, that conflict and nagging left me with the idea of not wanting to do the same with my daughter, and now, so that she does things well, willingly and does not see them as punishment, I asked her what household chore she likes to learn and she helped me do it and washing the dishes was one of the ones she chose, so I am happy with her because she is already a great help for me among so many things to do every day.

Something she has been doing since she was little is picking up and tidying the room, toys, clothes, books, shoes, she has to pick up everything because it is a simple task that I have been asking her to do since she was little, so she gets used to have her things organized, although she doesn't always do it right or at the time I tell her, in the end she does it, and she has even learned to sweep the dust.

So well, little by little Isa and I have made an excellent team in many things, including cleaning and tidying up the house, before while everyone was sleeping or on weekends it was my turn to do everything, but by now, my burden has lightened and she helps me a lot. This has made her appreciate more when others make an effort to leave everything in order for her to enjoy a clean and tidy home.

So my advice to other moms is that from an early age we teach children to be tidy, pick up toys, shoes and things like that and little by little include other habits, so that as they grow up, collaborating at home is not a reason to be scolded but to be applauded for their good disposition. Also so that they value the effort we make every day to keep everything clean so that they are comfortable and healthy.

That's all for today, happy week to all of you.
