I have several useful things in my life, but the use of the watch occupies a special and priority place in my life. Time, expressed in hours, minutes or seconds, is present in all my daily actions. For me, the clock is very important because it gives me a notion of time and helps me to keep track of it. It can be the wall clock in my living room or in my kitchen, or the digital clock on my cell phone, my watch at work or my wristwatch, any of them fulfills its function and I need to consult it several times throughout the day and night.

If you think about it carefully, you will realize that the clock is everywhere, I live subject to it. All my actions are measured in time by a clock, work, commitments, food, rest, recreation, everything absolutely everything is immersed in daily life. My actions are mainly governed by schedules, which require due organization, it is impossible for me to carry out my daily life without the presence of this artifact or instrument.

Personally, I can leave the house without my cell phone, but hardly without my watch. On the occasions when I have forgotten it, I have had a hard time, feeling its lack and its absence. My lifestyle, my occupations, my work activities, demand and demand precise, fair and exact times in which I must be in certain places and I must be punctual.

I recognize and value the obvious usefulness of the watch in my life. However, I long to live without it, to have the freedom to decide when not to be with it, but so far, despite multiple attempts, all have been unsuccessful, chimerical and utopian longings, longings and desires lost in the sway of wanting. So time goes by, besieged and harassed by the burning clock, tick, tock, tick, tock.
