Selective technology Luddites.
Here is a meme that i came across within the last two years that should be shared. Not my image i am just passing it along to help build the community and have a laugh and a though to which the meme points to.
Life Goals at this stage in the game might be to go back to being selective about what technology is kept around. Looks like I could get away with starting a religion. Only computers connected to Hive comunity, wheels, books, fire, steel making, wood cutting, and NOTHING else will be permitted in this new religion of the way going forward.

The word "entire" is intellectually dishonest. No virus can entirely wipe out a community or humanity. There will always be a partial population of survivors. A virus can theoretically kill enough to thin out the genetic diversity and make the human race functionally extinct but that is unlikely to ever happen outside of a Sunday night Fox network comedy series.
If you want an example look at how the diseases the Europeans introduced to the Native Americans that had been isolated for tens of thousands of years spread like fire but there were still a portion of the population that survived.

I could not agree with you more extreme finality words such as those that i use were strictly for a rise in those who are actually thinking critically. I am glad my juxtaposition of a meme with way out sarcasm got you to comment.
