Últimamente he estado bastante activa con las iniciativas, pues considero que esa es una excelente manera de compartir opiniones y gustos con otros usuarios de la plataforma. En esta oportunidad he querido unirme a la iniciativa creada por mi amiga Mariana (@canelarecetas). De hecho mi intención era compartir esta publicación hace días, pero esta semana fue bastante ajetreada para mí.

Esta iniciativa consiste básicamente en compartir cuales son esos cinco lugares del mundo a los cuales nos encantaría enormemente visitar antes de partir de este mundo. Entonces, sin más que decir...¡vamos a ello!
This initiative basically consists of sharing what are those five places in the world that we would love to visit before we leave this world. So, without further ado...let's get to it!
1. Roma, Italia
Según lo que he leído es que, actualmente, Italia es el país con el mayor número de sitios declarados Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO, ¿sabías eso? Sin duda alguna me encantaría poder visitar Roma, pues esta ciudad cuenta con grandes maravillas arquitectónicas y distintos tesoros repartidos por su encantadoras calles.
El Coliseo, la Basílica de San Pedro, La Fontana di Trevi y el increíble Foro Romano. Estos son uno de los tantos lugares de gran interés cultural que me gustaría ver en vivo y directo si en algún momento llego a visitar esta ciudad (que de verdad espero hacerlo, pues lo sueños no son imposibles). Y por supuesto, algo que no se puede dejar escapar: disfrutar de una auténtica pizza Italiana.

Without a doubt I would love to visit Rome, because this city has great architectural wonders and different treasures scattered throughout its charming streets.
The Colosseum, St. Peter's Basilica, the Trevi Fountain and the incredible Roman Forum. These are some of the many places of great cultural interest that I would like to see live and direct if I ever get to visit this city (which I really hope to do, because dreams are not impossible). And of course, something you can't miss: enjoying an authentic Italian pizza.
2. Río de Janeiro, Brasil

Bien, ahora nos desplazamos hacia una zona más tropical. Yo no soy tan fanática de la playa, sin embargo me encantaría visitar la famosa y encantadora playa de Copabana. También en esta Ciudad hay otros grandes sitios hermosos para visitar, como el parque público Parque Lage y Pan de Azúcar. Este último es el lugar perfecto para obtener una gran vista de toda la ciudad y disfrutar de un lindo atardecer, este es un peñón de unos 338 metros de altura por el cual se sube en teleférico.
Y bueno, ya que nos encontramos en Río no hay que dejar de visitar la Catedral de San Sebastián y tomarnos la típica foto en uno de uno de los sitios más míticos de Río de Janeiro: la Escalera de Selarón en el Barrio Santa Teresa.
Well, now we are moving to a more tropical area. I am not so much a fan of the beach, however I would love to visit the famous and charming Copabana beach. Also in this City there are other great beautiful places to visit, like the public park Parque Lage and Pan de Azúcar. The latter is the perfect place to get a great view of the whole city and enjoy a nice sunset, this is a rock of about 338 meters high which is climbed by cable car.
And well, since we are in Rio, we must visit the San Sebastian Cathedral and take the typical photo in one of the most mythical places in Rio de Janeiro: the Escadaria de Selarón in the Santa Teresa neighborhood.
3. Beijing, China
Ahora nos vamos hacia el otro lado del mundo. Desde niña siempre he dicho que mi gran sueño es poder visitar China, su cultura y tradiciones siempre me han llamado mucho la atención, además de que su arquitectura antigua es increíble.
Entre los sitios de interés turístico que, obviamente, me encantaría visitar se encuentra una de las más grandes maravillas de la ingeniería: La Gran Muralla China. La plaza de Tiananmén o plaza de la Puerta de la Paz Celestial, que es la plaza más importante de China y una de las más grandes del mundo. Y por supuesto, no puede faltar el palacio más glorioso de toda China que se encuentra ubicado en el corazón Beijing: la Ciudad Prohibida.
Claro está que hay mucho otros lugares importantes para visitar en esta ciudad, pero esos tres los considero los más representativos y de visita obligatoria.
Now we are going to the other side of the world. Since I was a child I have always said that my dream is to visit China, its culture and traditions have always caught my attention, besides its ancient architecture is incredible.
Among the places of tourist interest that I would obviously love to visit is one of the greatest engineering wonders: The Great Wall of China. Tiananmen Square_ or Heavenly Peace Gate Square, which is the most important square in China and one of the largest in the world. And of course, you cannot miss the most glorious palace of all China which is located in the heart of Beijing: The Forbidden City.
Of course, there are many other important places to visit in this city, but these three I consider the most representative and a must-see.
4. Tromsø, Noruega
Esta ciudad del norte de Noruega es uno de los puntos de observación de las Auroras Boreales y también desde esta ciudad puede observarse el Sol de Medianoche. De verdad que sería una experiencia inolvidable poder visualizar estos fenómenos naturales.
Y más allá del gran espectáculo que puede observarse en los cielos de Tromso, existen lugares increíbles para visitar como la Catedral del Ártico, por ejemplo. También se puede subirse en teleférico a lo alto del monte Storsteinen para obtener una vista espectacular de toda la ciaudad. Aunque si eres de los que prefieres el senderismo, puedes llegar a la cima recorriendo las 1.200 escaleras de piedra que te llevan hasta allá.

And beyond the great spectacle that can be seen in the skies of Tromso, there are incredible places to visit as the Arctic Cathedral, for example. You can also take a cable car ride to the top of Mount Storsteinen for a spectacular view of the entire city. Although if you prefer hiking, you can get to the top by walking the 1,200 stone stairs that take you there.
5. Salto Ángel, Parque Nacional Canaima, Venezuela
De algo sí estoy bastante segura y es que yo no pienso partir de este mundo sin haber visitado el Salto Ángel...una vez estuve muy pero muy cerca de cumplir con esto, pero lamentablemente la oportunidad no se concretó.
Creo que no debemos olvidar las bellezas naturales que hay en nuestro país. Recordemos que este es el salto de agua más alto del mundo, pues cuenta con una altura de cerca de 1000 metros. Además, este es un espacio protegido pues se encuentra dentro del Parque Nacional Canaima el cual fue declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la Unesco en el año 1994. Además se convirtió en una de las finalistas en la elección de las Siete Maravillas Naturales del Mundo, aunque lamentablemente quedó fuera del listado oficial.
Sin duda es una de las maravillas naturales más representativas que se encuentran en mi país y, con toda honestidad, sería todo un sueño poder presenciar esta gran caída de agua.

Muy seguramente esta semana ajetreada te tiene un poco mas cerca de poder conocer estos lugares, según creo entender estudias química al igual que yo. o ya te graduaste. En ocasiones y con un poco de suerte podremos tener un buen puesto de trabajo para poder invertir en criptos, conocer estos lugares será chocogalleta saludable comida (pan comido), poco comparables con placeres culposos o viajes al pasado.

Aun soy estudiante en carrera :( y tristemente paralizada por el Covid y por autoridades universitarias que no pretenden ayudar mucho a los estudiantes...pero es mejor no hablar de esos temas deprimentes. Qué lindo que hayas tomado tu tiempo en leer varios de mis posts y que hayas venido acá a dejar tu comentario tan agradable, ¡eso lo valoro muchísimo!
Y claro que sí, The Girl From Ipanema con Frank Sinatra es mucho mejor...pero si coloco a Sinatra mientras estudio sería imposible concentrarme jajaja, me pierdo en esa voz tan espectacular.
