Ecency - Get Instant Rewards

We live in an age where we seek to have results in a matter of instant. The immediate gratification is craved among all of us whether it is performing a task at work to completing a post in Hive blockchain. The mechanism in Hive however does not allow its users to reap its rewards automatically. Instead a 7 day waiting period is required for a post reward to be collected and on top of that it takes 13 weeks to fully withdraw 100% of that reward. The delay in gratification can often lead to less enthusiasm to continue participating on the Hive blockchain as effort. However Ecency seeks to change that.

When I first started using Ecency I was hooked mainly because it has a reward system that provided rewards instantly. Ecency's reward system is built on top of Hive's blockchain therefore users are earning what they earn if they used hive.blog and in addition Ecency points. The type of rewards that can be used with the points are for promoting a post or to purchase an upvote from @ecency's account. Reward points are automatically distributed the instant you complete a task and the points can automatically be used when enough has been accumulated to purchase a task.

The different ways to earn Ecency points:

Writing a Post earns you 15 points
Writing a Comment earns you 5 points
Upvote earns 0.3 points and voting weight earns 0.01 x voting weight
Share post earns you 1 point.
Continuously keep Ecency in use each 15 minutes earn 0.25 points
Login earns you 10 points.
Consistent use of Ecency earns you 10 points.
Delegating Hive Power at a rate of 1,000HP earns you 50 points a day.

There is even an option for you to buy points if wanted.

Currently 1 Hive is approximately 57.3 Ecency points. Now the points can only be used in three ways. To either promote a post or purchase an upvote. The third option is to gift points to some other user. The minimum points required to perform a promotion or up-voting is 250 points and max of 1,000 points for promotion while 500 points for upvote.

I have purchased the Ecency upvote to post a couple of times and I consider it the response pretty timely. Ecency upvotes within a few hours and leads with it several small upvotes in a trail. Of course I still have to wait 7 days to reap in the rewards of the upvotes. However its an additional upvote I can use for whatever I want earned on top of the upvotes I normally could earn if I used hive.blog alone.

Conclusions

I am like many where if I can earn something quick I usually try it out. The instant gratification I crave just like others. The seven day waiting for upvote rewards can sometimes be a torture as I count down the hours until I collect payout. Yet having now used Ecency it is a great complimentary tool for Hive blockchain. I get to see myself earning a few points per a use immediately which motivates me to engage more on the blockchain. I also get to see how quickly it is to accumulate enough points to earn a post promotion or Ecency upvote.

What I have also just learned is that Ecency is supported by many active users on Hive and they spread their love by providing giveaways and points to top users. I earned 300 Ecency for the week due to my activities through Ecency. The only thing I regret is not trying this sooner.
