Productive Learning & Experiences Bringing In Better Finances?

So what would you think productive learning and productive experiences means? Today we will be looking at some experiences and type of educations that result in a person being able to earn more $$$. The results may surprise you.

A Financial Degree

A finance or financial degree in the USA is ranked 14th in most popular degrees to earn in college in 2020/21 based on collegefactual.com. That equates to around 9% of all college graduates. So you can say a lot of students potentially have a finance degree and therefore are financial experts out of college.

Interesting BusinessInsiders.com has an article about traders in the stock market generally do not perform as well as they expect. Why is that?

Main reason comes down to unexpected events that investors just simply can not foresee or expect. No matter how a company's balance sheets are presented or how much future expectations are in a company the market is a free market where price can go up or down based on an event that can happen randomly. Traders and investors can best cope with this by finding stocks that can best weather challenges but still not everything can be anticipated.

So this comes to a realization that although someone who invests for many years may not have as much ability as someone who just started investing when it comes to trying to buy low and sell high in the markets. On the hand if someone was to train in a sport on a daily basis the abilities they learn and enhance in each training session adds up to what in the end becomes superior physical performance.

Conclusions

I am not saying a financial degree is useless or that all investors no matter how many years experiences can not do better than new investors. Instead I am saying on a general basis the type of learning one can do may not end up with getting better results based on the effort and time put in. Trading stocks is one type of work that does not really accumulate knowledge for all individuals as much as if let say playing Piano or a sport every single day.

When you do something and see yourself making progress that is a productive learning. The experiences you gain through those learning sessions can be stacked and make increase your life skills. By trading stocks on its own in hopes of making profit is just like going to a casino and making a bet. The odds are staked against you if you do not have the productive experiences.

None of what I write is financial advice. It is for entertainment purposes only. Thanks for reading!

I don't think a financial degree is bad but it might just not be worth the cost. Also, getting a degree doesn't mean that you will always succeed. It does give them an advantage over people who don't know anything though.

that is with a lot of degrees. Doing well in school does not always equal to doing well in life. However its still a good indicator of there person's drive/motivation in life. !WINE !PIZZA

I guess it all depends on the skills and the opportunities presented to the person. Having a degree can give someone a boost for sure as they will have an edge about the basic stuff but constant learning and improvement thanks to the offered discussions and webinars from other people can be helpful too!
