Splinterlands - Did You Knows?

Everyday players go onto Splinterlands.com or its app to play their daily quests. Often times some of us simply go by any updates or messages that pops up. I confess I myself do that sometimes. So here on this post I bring up the so call little things that I have missed before and only noticed after looking at it carefully. Hopefully save you some time from avoiding to do so but still know where certain things can be found on Splinterlands.

Assets Besides Cards?

Under the cards page by default it will list out all the cards you own. However in the inventory there are two icons where one is cards and another is labeled "other" and icon is some sort of square shield.

Once you click on the "others" the page reloads and lists every other asset you hold in Splinterlands that is not cards. This includes unopened packs, totems, land plots, spell book, potions, vouchers.

What is useful here is that you can transfer certain assets to other players or to your Hive-Engine wallet for sale or trade. Such as unopened packs and land plots.

Settings Warning Of Pending Battle?

For those who want to turn on/off sound of Splinterlands they click on the their account name on front page top right. From there a drop down menu with "settings" can be selected. In there player can adjust the sounds of the game, and one new feature I just learned is that player can adjust the sound of when they have a match pending. This is very useful for me as I multi-task and may not have Splinterlands always on screen as I have multiple tabs open. The sound on will warn me when I have opponent selected or the match is near expiration.

Media Kit?

At the bottom of the Splinterlands.com home page there is a link called "Media Kit". Its not updated recently so all the data on it is way out of date. Yet it is pretty cool to go through as it has some of the first year's of the game's stats.

All in all its mainly a presentation of 10 slides related to everything about Splinterlands. There is one slide that includes a google drive link that apparently is connected to some of the game's icons and images for all to use to promote the game.

Conclusions

The game webpages are constantly being visited daily by users and there is reason to believe the developers always trying to find better ways to update the site and provide new features. Sometimes they come up with the updates without clarifying what exactly got added or updated due in part that in may not be a site update but a code update or some other form of update to make the game run smoother. In any case hope some of the things we looked at today were helpful providing you a better experience on Splinterland's website.
