Splinterlands - End Of Season 69 Review

Another season is over and more rewards distributed to all players. For me this season resulted in same season ending rewards as past seasons, however I earned more during rank battles. Lets look at it on how much more?

My Stats For The Season

I would have gotten Gold I if I had saved enough CP but decided to rent out more than play near the end of the season. What also stayed positive was my win to loss ratio remain over 1 for the season. This is two seasons in a row where I have more wins than losses.

My Season Rewards

It is disappointing to see that I actually earned less for the season than compared to previous seasons. I may have played more battles and won about the same but the rank battle earnings in total for the season is below prior seasons. On top I am pretty sure my higher rating for this season did not benefit in earnings.

My Rental Income

On the positive my rental earnings for the season is above last season as I was able to crack over 40k DEC. I know it is not ideal to rent out near the end of the season where I felt I could earn more in rentals than to hold the CP for more end of season rewards.

Conclusions

The season overall yielded my a little over $120 in rental income but a meager $20 in play to earn. My deck is still structurally missing components to make it a decent gold league deck. I also believe if I had more max level cards it would be more earnings in play to earn. Like the old saying I can only earn more if I invest more.

Looking ahead to this new season I plan to try to capitalize on the rental income again. Meanwhile continue to use Waka Spiritblade as much as I can to profit and yield more in play to earn. I have also seen the card renting out at around 55 DEC a day.

It may not seem like a lot but consecutive days of having the card rented out will yield more as it adds up. I am going to play the first few days of the season and see how that pans out before I try renting Waka out. I prefer to use the cards that I have not rented out to earn more first.
