Accounts created by Splinterlands dropped to 30k for the month of January 2022.

All this points to a large amount of activity in the game, but its due in part with what Hive Blockchain can do.

The daily activities on Splinterlands would not have been possible if there were fees for every form of transaction. The speed and required cost to execute the basics of tasks would add up to the point where players likely spend more time and money to play than if they were simply playing a console or PC game.
