Splinterlands - My New Additions...
In 2022 I had aimed to collect all 5 rare Chaos summoners at max level, and was unsuccessful. What happened was I did not get my hands on a Kelya Frendul and since card prices have risen from all time lows just a couple of weeks back I can't help but be tempted to add summoners I yet to have in my collection.
With a recovery in prices it was difficult to find summoners that would offer me best bang for the buck. Yet there are currently some in the Untamed rare collection so I decided to purchase a couple. In conjunction I also added my first Chaos Legendary in Grandmaster Rathe, at level 3.
All in all I bought close to $300 in cards with the addition of Pyre and Bortus. Both untamed summoners were max level, and considering how expensive max level summoners are currently it does seem like a steal to get untamed summoners under $100 each. With Bortus I now have a max water summoner to play. Meanwhile I will likely rent out my Pyre for now considering I prefer
using Tarsa. Main reason I wanted Pyre is because I don't have the card in my collection.
I decided to go with summoners rather than monsters is so that I have a better set of cards to rent out if I do decide to leave the game a bit. As of now I am still determined to play daily but investing in summoners will allow me to have easier to rent out for higher earnings down the road.
This is my remaining liquidity that I had been saving for months that I am spending on cards. I am hoping investing in these summoners will allow me to move further into the ranks and earn more rewards. At the same time fill in my collections of cards.

You're right about investing in summoners, so that even if you choose to stop playing for a while, you'll still keep getting your returns. The grandmaster rathe is such a beast.
I also didn't get a Keyla and it's one of the cards that I lose the most against. I really did wish I bought them when they were cheaper but you can't change the past.

Sprinterland team added 43 new cards in the game. I think this update is good for old and new users. With the way the market is pumping right now, it looks like the prices of SPS and Sprinterland cards will go up in the coming days. As soon as the price moves up, we will see new users coming to the game.
