Splinterlands - My Stats on SPS airdrops

Post front page snapshot is my personal claim and staking of SOS for the past six months. There were periods of the time I neglected to collect daily air drop but all in all most days I would have been able to collect them and stake them.

I am almost at 20k SPS and will likely hit that mark in a couple of days. I have around 1.3 million air drop points which gets me around 103 SPS air drop a day.

I am currently slightly above top 2000 holders in overall amount of SPS. I have some SPS staked in pools but majority are in the game.

We are pretty much 2/3 in on the daily airdrop that ends this year in the summer. With that in mind I have been planning on accumulating more SPS.

To Accumulate SPS or Not?

There is no real utility currently with holding SPS. The real steady long term yields in staking is decent at a little under 28% yield. However token price drop has me feeling the yield is not enough for me to invest significantly into SPS.

In addition to the yield there is daily distribution of Vouchers for stakers of SPS. The Vouchers can be used to trade for Hive or be use to benefit in purchasing booster packs.

Beyond the staking yield and Vouchers there is little to none other uses for SPS token at this present time. That is a good sign for those who wish to purchase SPS as the demand for the token is low. As such a good time to accumulate.

In conclusion I plan to add SPS and stake them to receive the yield and vouchers. All the while waiting for when actual utilities for the token comes up as the game approaches big milestones to come. Milestones that includes the land expansion coming into fruition.
