Splinterlands - Ways To Earn Passive Income...

I maybe able to blog post daily on hive, but it still takes time away from me to do other activities such as play to earn on Splinterlands. I may have days in a week where I do not play the game at all. While I would be spending my time researching and learning about other projects in the crypto space.

Today though I will discuss some options to still earn with Splinterlands without having to play or even look at it on a daily basis. This is important to me where I continue to earn income as I still want to stack more cards and be a competitive player. Hopefully some of these options can help you on your journey in Splinterlands.

Renting Out My Cards

The easiest way to earn passive income is to rent out cards I am not playing. I have currently over 700k collection points rented out and it is bring in for me around 2k DEC a day which comes out to be around 8% APR. Not a lot relative to what other cryptocurrency project yields can bring in, however this is passive steady income that I put absolutely no effort in. The cards on peakmonsters are already set with a specific price and when it is not rented I don't adjust it. I let the cards sit until they get rented out as I see its better to earn some income than no income.

Liquidity Pools

I earn SPT tokens, which count toward SPS daily air drop, through blog posting and liquidity farming. Over on beeswap.dcity.io there is a filter to list liquidity pools that has Splinterlands tokens where investors can farm. Tokens such as SPT, SPS, DEC, and even vouchers. The pools that I partake in are ONEUP : SPT and SPT : SPS

Every 24 hours for partaking in the pools I yield other cryptocurrency assets. The new assets are air dropped into my Hive-Engine wallet where I can reuse to increase my stake in farming the pools or exchange the assets for Hive to increase my overall Hive power.

Besides providing the assets into the pool I do nothing else and round the clock earn a small size of air drops. The apr on these reward air drops can sometimes be very lucrative. For instance the ONEUP : SPT rewards is over 150%.

SPT Delegations

A main reason I earn some SPT is that there are a lot of great curators on splintertalk.io For instance monster-curator is the largest SPT stake holder. This is because people who delegate their SPT to monster-curator, in return they earn daily SPT.

This is all possible because monster-curator earns rewards in SPT for curating blog posts. The earned rewards are redistributed to SPT stake holders who delegated to monster-curator.

I personally have delegated over 25,000 SPT to monster-curator and earn around 20 SPT daily. Again once I delegate the SPT I do absolutely no work and earn a daily passive income of SPTs. The bigger picture is if I save and earn enough SPT I can delegate and earn potentially larger sum of SPT.

Conclusions

The options I listed are all very easy to perform and very little maintenance required. In fact once setup it is ready to go and automatically earns for me. These options listed are truly earning me passive income although small it is still liquid earned.

All these options I use to earn more on Splinterlands has allowed me to spend my time more focus on either playing better in the game, but also to be able to have more free time to educate myself with other great crypto projects.
