[Eng-Esp] A Night of Pizza and Smiles
Life is filled with moments, with happy moments that are fragments that make up the colourful canvas that happiness makes in existence, unforgettable details that when remembered paint your face with smiles.
There are no moments more sublime than seeing a child laugh, the magic of feeling their joy, listening attentively to their anecdotes and seeing how they are no longer children, that adulthood is coming into their lives, that what you sowed in forging their character is now a harvest.
On one of these days off I came for dinner with my daughters, we had been planning to eat pizza for days, we had already eaten hamburgers and wanted to vary the menu, so we planned to go to a place that is fashionable in the city and that had not been recommended before.
La vida se va llenando de instantes, de momentos felices que son retazos que conforman el lienzo de colores que hace en la existencia la felicidad, detalles inolvidables que al recordar pinta de sonrisas tu rostro.
No hay momentos más sublimes que ver reír a un hijo, la magia de sentir su alegría, escuchar con atención sus anécdotas y ver cómo ya no son niños, que la adultez está llegando a sus vidas, que lo que sembraste en forjar su carácter hoy es cosecha.
Unos de estos días libres me vine a cenar con mis hijas, teníamos días planeando comer pizza, ya habíamos comido hamburguesas y queríamos variar el menú, así que planificamos ir a un sitio que está de moda en la ciudad y que ya no los habían recomendado con anterioridad.
After a hard day's work, I went home with the greatest happiness, since my daughters would be there, waiting for me, that made my soul happy, when I arrived I saw how my princesses were happy for the dinner we would have.
When I arrived they had a coffee ready for me and they told me that they were waiting for me to choose the clothes that we would wear and so it was, after showering they threw me on the bed several proposals of dresses, I told them, I didn't like any of them.
We deliberated for several minutes and they chose the clothes I would wear, it really was the ugliest, but this did not matter to see, the happiness they radiated, it was an incomparable moment of infinite joy for me.
Luego de una jornada de trabajo ardua, me voy a la casa con la mayor felicidad, ya que mis hijas estarían allí, esperándome, eso me alegraba el alma, al llegar veo como mis princesas estaban alegres por la cena que tendríamos.
Al llegar me tenían un café listo y me comentan que me estaban esperando para escoger la ropa que nos pondríamos y así fue, luego de ducharme me tiran en la cama varias propuestas de vestido, les comento, ninguna me gustaba.
Deliberamos por varios minutos y ellas escogieron la ropa que luciría, realmente era la más fea, pero esto no importaba ver, la felicidad que irradiaban, era un momento inigualable y de infinito regocijo para mí.
When we were ready, we took the car and went to enjoy a delicious pizza at Pizzeria "La Abuela" when we arrived, everything was finely decorated for the beach, as we were on holiday for the Easter holiday.
The food menu was varied, there were about 20 types of pizza, fast food, desserts, cakes and ice cream, the decision to choose would not be easy, especially as my daughters love to eat and I knew they would like everything.
After a few minutes of belligerence, we chose the pizza as the dinner of the night, really an excellent choice, its ingredients would be ham, bacon, corn, mushrooms, anchovies, onion rings and cheese, just remembering it makes my mouth water.
Al estar listo tomamos el vehículo y nos fuimos a disfrutar de una rica pizza en Pizzería "La Abuela" al llegar estaba todo finamente decorado de playa, ya que estábamos de vacaciones por la festividad de Semana Santa.
El menú de comida era variado, había alrededor de 20 tipos de pizza, comida rápida, postres, tortas y helados, la decisión de escoger no sería fácil y más que mis hijas les encanta comer y sabía que les gustaba todo.
Luego de unos minutos de beligerancia, escogimos la pizza como la cena de la noche, realmente una excelente elección, sus ingredientes serían jamón, tocineta, maíz, champiñones, anchoas, aros de cebolla y queso, de solo recordarlo se me hace agua la boca.
The wait for this succulent delicacy would be approximately 20 minutes, a special moment to share a good conversation, there I listened as my daughters told, with great eloquence, past moments that we lived, they remembered previous dinners and that made my soul happy, since I realized that they were happy.
When the pizza arrived, the sparkle in the eyes of all could not be hidden, it was a familiar dish with an incredible smell, without any doubt we began to eat and to delight ourselves with the dinner, the pizza was to my taste, the dough was very thin and toasted, it looked like a biscuit.
At the end of the dinner we did not hesitate to have dessert and decided to have ice cream and we enjoyed chocolate bars, lemon pie, strawberry yoghurt and mantecado.
Undoubtedly these moments make life special, sharing with the ones you love and seeing them laugh is priceless and for me this night is unforgettable, a night of magic and smiles.
La espera por este suculento manjar sería de aproximadamente 20 minutos, momento especial para compartir una buena conversación, allí escuché como mis hijas contaban, con gran elocuencia, momentos pasados que vivimos, recordaban cenas anteriores y eso me alegraba el alma, ya que me daba cuenta de que estaban felices.
Al llegar la pizza, el brillo en los ojos de todo no se pudo esconder, era un plato familiar con un olor increíble, sin ninguna duda comenzamos a comer y a deleitarnos de la cena, la pizza estaba a mi gusto, la masa bien fina y tostada, parecía galleta.
Al terminar la cena no dudamos de tomar el postre y decidimos por comer helados y nos deleitamos de barquillas de chocolate, pie de limón, yogur de fresa y mantecado.
Indudablemente estos momentos hacen de la vida especial, compartir con los seres que amas y verlos reír no tienen precio y para mí está noche es inolvidable, una noche de magia y sonrisas.
