MY INTRODUCTORY POST

Hello HIVE!

I'm very excited to be making my debut post on this space.

So as not to break away from tradition, I will go ahead to tell everyone all there is to know about this NEWBIE user on the hive platform(well, at least to an extent).

Before going into my post, I'd like to appreciate @starstrings01 for helping to onboard me. And I'd also like to thank @monioluwa who guided me in making my introductory post.

I hope you find it concise and interesting.

MAYOWA EMMANUEL...

For starters, my name is Mayowa Emmanuel. I am a recent graduate of Biochemistry.

I'm often called by my first name.. but a lot of moniker has been attached to that name.

For example, a friend of mine, Matthew, calls me Mayor of Lagos because I come from Lagos.

Some of them call me Mayor of LASU (full acronym - Lagos State University) because I graduated from that institution.

And others call me Mayor of ...(whatever else they deemed fit to replace the gap).

And because I now belong to this space, you should probably call me Mayor of HIVE..😉😉 (That's not an obligation to anyone.. it's just what I feel from within).

Just as I mentioned earlier, I attended Lagos State University (LASU) where I studied Biochemistry for four years.

The four years later turned into a solid five years and some months of study (due to the pandemic that affected the entire world)

Besides academics, the extended lockdown during the pandemic peril opened my eyes to the importance of being a writer.

Not just a writer. But a Direct Response Copywriter.

So I went all in and practiced so hard to become good at writing copies. (I still do till date).

I recently made a decision to tailor my contents to border around the financial niche. No Hopus, No Pocus. Just Focus.. on the financial niche.
How's that going for me? You'll get to know in coming days...

My deliverables include sales funnel, down to email copywriting and lift notes such as ad copy.

Basically anything that as to deal with direct response marketing.

I see Hive as an opportunity I can utilize to increase my scope of knowledge and get better at what I do.

Here is a picture of me on Monday, 23/08/2021 when I defended my final year project on a research work titled - OXIDATIVE STRESS ENZYMES IN THE LIVER OF STREPTOZOTOCIN INDUCED DIABETIC RATS TREATED WITH CUCUMEROPSIS MANNII PROTEIN EXTRACT which lasted for about 9 weeks.

But how can I just dwell on studying the metabolic reactions that occur in the human system alone?

Well, I didn't settle for less.

Here's why,

I've since been heavily convinced personally to be of a positive impact in the most little possible way of mine to people (as much as they can be)

I discovered this is only possible when I meet new people every new day.

And the internet has made the task even more easier to accomplish.

Hence my change of path from Biochemistry into Direct Response Marketing and Copywriting.

And lest I forget,

Five days ago, I relocated to Nasarawa State to serve my country in a popular scheme here in Nigeria called NYSC (full acronym - National Youth Service Corps)

And I'll remain here for the next 12 months because it's a one year service.

I know and I believe joining this platform will be a plus and open more opportunities of meeting amazing people here around the globe.

To the best of my knowledge, I know there is a synergy between hive and crypto, but I hadn't really taken much time to delve deeper into the connections until recently. I still haven't gotten the whole concept though, but I believe more research from my own end would help satisfy my curiosity.

Despite my knowledge about the forex market and trading currencies, I know very little about Blockchain tech or cryptocurrency and I'm also willing to change this.

Although, I am a novice in the crypto world, one thing that I definitely know is that cryptocurrency is the future which has already begun. And it brings with it lots of opportunities.

I believe Hive is one of the many ways through which these opportunities can be adequately harnessed and I intend on making use of it to the best of my ability and help the platform grow better in the process.

I already promised not to make this post too long, so I'll make a pause for now.

I assure you that this won't be the last time you'll be hearing from me.
