There are so many different crypto tokens that it is almost impossible to keep track of it all.
Your idea is pretty decent, although I am not a financial professional. The most important factor in determining the worth of anything is consumer demand.
The people of Hive do not like things like fees and taxes which was I think the appeal of Hive.
I know we are talking stability and not so much price increase. As Hive becomes more popular with the Web2.0 peeps, that the other tokens may experience a similar rise in popularity and value.

That is true, the high liquidity of tokens in hive-engines matters because most investors will lose their interest seeing tokens with low trading volume. The purpose of $POB is to make POB token more liquid by decreasing the amount of the circulating supply in the market.
