Centauri Mage’s Return Fire Rules The Battlefield!

Every week, @splinterlands posts a challenge for players to post about their battle, using a specific card or splinter. This week’s challenge, is to use Centauri Mage! 🧙‍♀️

No neutral monsters or the heal ability are allowed. The mana is capped at 19!

So, here was the team I put together:

Since, Centauri Mage a Earth Monster, I began by choosing my summoner. I picked, Lyanna Natura- a powerful Earth Summoner! Lyanna m is at level 4 and adds an attack stat to each melee monster!!

After the Magi of the Forest, Lyanna is the greatest summoner from Anumün. She has many powers in addition to summoning, including her ability to communicate clearly with animals. She is married to Aggrodius Lightbringer, and they live together in Draykh-Nahka with their two daughters, Kiara and Talia. Lyanna lives a busy and high-profile life, very different from her simple past on the Lyverian countryside.

I was already feeling confident, but let’s get to my monster line-up!

In my tank position, I chose Goblin Thief! This card is from the Earth Splinter and has some pretty good stats. It has decent speed, attack, and but the Heath was crappy. But it fit well considering the rules. It got a Health buff from my chosen summmoner!

Orc Sergeant followed. I mainly chose him because he is a Gold foil card with a low mana. The reach ability let him melee attack from this position. He also received a summoner’s buff of one xtra Health!

Centauri Mage, anchored the team. This was the card I built my team around! I love the health stats and the Return Fire ability (When hit with a Ranged attack, Monsters with Return Fire will return reduced damage back to their attacker!). This card also got a buff of their health.

My battle went 4 rounds, and I did not lose 1 monster!. I was very happy with the team I assembled, and was very pleased with my victory ✌🏽
