Riding Dragons to Victory! Agor Longtail Is A True Ledgend!

Every week, @splinterlands posts a challenge for players to post about their battle, using a specific card or splinter. This week’s challenge, is to use the Dragon splinter!

All monsters have the Trample ability!

Mana is capped at 27!

So, here was the team I put together:

Scince, the challenge is to use a Dragon Monster, I began by choosing my dragon summoner. I picked, Drake of Arnak- a powerful Dragon Summoner! Drake is at level 3 and adds an armor stat to each friendly monster!!

The Drake of Arnak is a medium-sized Dragon hybrid. He is highly intelligent and extremely rich, but cannot fly nor breathe fire. All his life he has honed his skills as a summoner, hoping to win a share of the glory that should rightfully be his as a carrier of the fire blood. The Drake's trademark is that his monsters are summoned to battle with a thin force field of blue fire, fortifying their defenses. Forms have been filed by the High Council to formally request that the Drake of Arnak hand over his secrets for the good of the united Gloridax, but he will not give up his proprietary magic without a fight. The Drake of Arnak is the Gloridax rival of Daria Dragonscale; the two despise one another.

I was already feeling confident, but let’s get to my monster line-up!

In my tank position, I chose Agor Longtail! It's a Legendary dragon, with two types of attacks- magic and melee. Its speed is decent, and has amazing health & armor! This card also has three awesome abilities. It's flying ability helped it evade enemy attack to join the battle; it's taunt ability forced all enemy Monsters target this Monster (if they are able to); and Void Armor Void (Magic attacks hit this Monster's armor before its Health.) this card is the ultimate tank, and I am so glad this monster is part of my team.

Junker followed. I love to use gold foil cards in battle. Junkers stats are OK, but he is kind of slow. His reach ability allows him to attack from this position.

I then chose, Creeping Ooze! At this point, I only had one mana left, because I spent most of the budget on the tank ! But it did add a wonderful element. It's ability to use slowed down the enemy team!

Furious Chicken, anchored the team. Furious Chicken isn't impressive at all, but doesn't cost anything! It's mainly just a punching bag! What a legend!

My battle went 5 rounds, and the battle turned out to be very close. The thorns almost killed me! Agor Longtail took the majority of the damage, but he was key to my victory. It sacrificed its life for the greater good! I was very happy with the team I assembled, and was very pleased with my victory ✌🏽
