Springtime Pink

Despite the cool weather we are having this year, spring is arriving in a profusion of pink.

This magnolia is putting on a pretty show! The flowers appear before the leaf buds open.

This old crab apple tree brightens up it's neighborhood.

The daffodils are blooming, summer birds are beginning to return. and I had one night this week where I was able to sleep with the bedroom window cracked open and wake to the sounds of birds singing.
Oh, and there is road construction happening in front of my house. That is a definite sign that spring has arrived!

Lovely pink flowers! I found out the bushes on one side of my house are white magnolias img_8670.jpeg They are starting to bloom. Here is one of the early blooms. I also have one crabapple tree but it is not blooming yet. I'm planting a couple more crabapple trees this week. I love their beautiful small flowers. We can't wait for it to warm up a little more to open the windows (just for the birds not the construction noises!) Beautiful blooms melinda 😍

Spring seemed to arrive here early, and then seemed to go away for a while! Now we are in full spring and the birdies are singing their songs.......LOUDLY! I love it!

Pretty in pink. The magnolias are beautiful. The crab apple blossoms look like the peach, and/or cherry blossoms.

Love all your gorgeous pops of pink! Seems they are everywhere around you.🌸

Nothing pink blooming by me though there are yellow forsynthia, purple and yellow irises, multi colored tulips and white flowers on the dogwoods.🌷🌼🦋
