The conflict between survivor and beast is unavoidable. Each side is fighting for survival and to demonstrate who is far more powerful. Many people have died. Both sides have a lot more to deal with than just life. They had lost their identity. They had forgotten who they were before this happened. When one survives a battle, one's rage, hatred, love, power, and strength grow. This leads one to believe that all of the forbidden feelings aren't so useless after all. To live is an act of courage. Nobody knows what happens between the person one were and the person one become. No one can map that blue and lonely area of hell. There are no maps of the transformation. One have just gotten to the other side. One either have it or don't.
