It is so exciting to watch things unfold within the Hive Ecosystem. When I first became made aware of Hive in 2020 from my friend, Scott Cunningham (@scottcbusiness), Hive had just hardforked from Steem following Dear Justin's hostile takeover.
The main draw for me was the blogging aspect. I was an OG blogger in the early-2000s, starting with Xanga from 2003-2007, then Myspace and Facebook til 2010, and then Tumblr, from 2010-2017, about the time it imploded and got bought by Verizon and wrecked by woke outrage culture.
Hive gives something to its users that no other blockchain does: uncensorable, free-to-transact platform that includes built-in P2P instant payments using $HIVE, $HBD, and layer-2 tokens.
I have big hopes for the Hive Financial System and will do whatever I can to contribute to its resilience and success.
