Can good people do bad things and bad people do good things?
To say that good people can do bad things and bad people can do good things is a way of judging , letting pass how complex human beings are.
The human being is an excessively complex being because this is what science has determined as a conclusion of studies and theories formulated around him.
One of the elements to say this is that besides the physical body the being has an emotional, mental and spiritual body. So it is not only seeing actions but there is also a world of emotions that we do not see, determining whether actions are good or bad.

There is a concept that I like to comment on which is perception; this concept tells us that everyone has their own way of seeing things. Two people may be looking at a little bird on the branch of a tree: one may say that it is only there to rest and the other may say that it is looking for a branch to nest.
These are two different points of view about just seeing a bird on a branch. And so it can happen with several situations that we observe in the same moment, each one will give his point of view and for sure everyone will come to give different contributions.

Being good or bad will depend on what position each one has. According to their world of emotions and experiences that they have or the people who have to judge someone and in each case why they act the way they act. They can say: if he is good why did he do that? or on the contrary: ohhh, that's good because he behaves badly, thank goodness he did well in this case.
That's why I reinforce that it's all in the perception.
