Another week has passed in my challenge to owning a complete Chaos Legion Regular Foil Set and Land, and I will closely monitor and transparently share all details about the challenge in these posts.

Obtain a complete regular foil Chaos Legion set playable in Gold Leagues by the end of 2023 Q1 - Update 6

This week we saw the Chaos Legion edition end its print run. When the Chaos Legion set was initially released, we were at the height of the NFT and crypto bull run, which resulted in the expectations for the Chaos Legion set to be way beyond any of the previous splinterlands editions. Therefore, people were expecting it to sell out quicker than expected. Still, as you know from being involved in the crypto space, we have been in a quite a long crypto bear market since December 2021. This crypto bear market seems to continue with the global economy macro and micro landscape being in despair due to various institutions' failures, war, and inflation pressures.

With the Chaos Legion print end, this appears to have a knock-on effect on the card prices. This week saw the most significant outlay so far in this challenge. I spent $86.97 on purchasing a level two Immortalis. For context, if I had to buy Immortalis last week, it would've cost me ~$70, so almost a 25% increase in a week. Nonetheless, super stoked to finally add Immortalis to the collection, as it's a powerful summoner card.

How much doEs the land actually net you? I’ve considered buying land but I haven’t seen much in what it actually does for the player. Is it worth it?

Thats a good question. I don't know and in the later parts of this challenge, I will look to explore.

Oh please do inform us. I’ve been nervous to pull the trigger. I think I will get some land after I get to gold rank first.
