Cinetv Contest #34 - My Three Favourite Television Comedy Series
My love for Nickelodeon and their series is on another level. It's been a long time since I last saw any of their series but I can still remember how obsessed I was back then about them... I would watch every episodes and even repeat some just because of how funny they were and how good I always felt after seeing them. The theme for this week reminded me of the many comedy series I've seen running on Nickelodeon channel but I'll be sharing my favourite three, the ones I simply can't forget a lot of scenes in it.
These three are all comedy series but in different special ways and yes, they are mainly for kids but I guess that's another reason I love and enjoy watching them. I honestly can't choose which of them I love best but I'll just talk about the three in no particular order, maybe my rating on them will show my most favourite haha. Henry Danger
The very first time I saw an episode of this series, I fell in love and got so obsessed with it. I got to know the time it comes on the television and would make sure I was done with my work to have time for it. There are a lot of things I love about this particular comedy series aside the fact that the characters were mostly kids/teens. Just in case you don't know the plot, I'll share a little about it and also share other reasons I love this series.
Henry Danger is about an indestructible man (Captain man) who employed an assistant, Kid danger to help him fight crimes and bring justice around. How they transform to their wears with bubbles and their funny ways of gaining justice at every scene they go, are the hit for me... So funny and fulfilling because they aways win.
The series also show a computer guru (Schwoz) and a young girl assistant (Charlotte), the two are my favourite after Henry (the lead)because they brought so much life to the series wherever scene they were. Henry's sister (the always crazy and loud angry Piper) and his friend (the super dumb Jasper) are another level of characters for me in the series.
I specially love every theme song of the Comedy series I've seen so I decided to share their theme songs instead of a trailer, you can always check out the series online if you're interested. I'll rate Henry Danger 8/10, it made me laugh and took me on adventures so much.
The Thundermans
Another series that gave me rib aches because of too much laugh. The series is starred by a family, a very weird bunny that talks and some school kids. Every character in the series were funny and I know it's being partial of me but I do have my favourite characters on this one, just two of them gets me happy whenever they're up to another mischief. If you're a fan, you'll be able to guess who the two are haha.
The Thundermans is about a family that has super powers but hide it in secret from the public even at home with the help of an alert that signals them of a visitor. While they try hard to hide their powers, the two elder kids (Max and Phoebe) make use of their powers at school in secret from their mates but in very funny ways.
Different powers for each family character but Max is bent on being a villain with his own power and that gave the series a lot more funny adventures to see and enjoy. The little ones at home are a pain for the elders while they still crack me up with their little mischief. Their parents are another character you'll love too. There is almost nothing I don't love about this series.
What you see is not you what you get, living our lives in secret... That line from the theme song says it all about the thundermans comedy series. I always made sure to turn on my television before the theme song plays so I could sing along before an episode starts haha. I'll rate this series 9/10.
Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn
This series ended a long time ago or maybe another has started and I'm yet to be aware of it but it's been long I saw it and I can still remember a lot of scenes from it that got me laughing and enjoying my time watching it. The series is starred by a family too, four mischievous kids and their crazy parents.
Nicky, Ricky Dicky and Dawn is a comedy series of a quadruplets who are different from each other aside their birthdays and parents relation. The four come up with different ways to solve their problems, bringing laughter and adventure to the viewers. Their fights as siblings are the highlight for me, they are almost never in agreement.
There was a scene where they went for a picnic against their parents wish and happened to find their parents there because they were also going on the picnic in secret from their kids, it was so funny that I saw that episode a second time. My favourite of the four kids is Dicky and Dawn, those two just gets me all the time.
From the theme song, you'd see how different the four quadruplets and be able to guess just how random their jokes comes up in the series. I'll rate this series 8/10 and yeah, that makes The Thundermans my most favourite comedy series from this three.

I so much love all of these series too, especially the first and the last, hehe. I miss seeing the last one though, it's been a while.
These series are super funny and exciting to watch, it's never a dull moment when watching any of them, lolz.

I always knew you're a big baby lol. Imagine you still remembering and having these as your favorite. But they're all good picks tho and I'd say Henry danger is my favorite from the list.

Mehnn! You just brought back old memories. Honestly, I can't remember the last time I watched nickelodeon... School plus faulty decoder at home has removed my mind from it.
But, I still miss that station so much and these series... Damn, they're a vibe. Always keeping me entertained and laughing.
Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn? For kids? Hell nah 😂... Even if I'm 50 something years old, I'd still keep watching them.
I still remember the likes of iCarly, Big time rush and victorious. But yeah these ones you mentioned are top-notch 👌.
