It's Saturday - Super Excited About This Weekend
It's Weekend again and this would be my first post talking about weekend using the community. I felt like writing in this community because of how my week have been.
I might be the most excited about this weekend, want to know why?
I started the week with an illness and took medications that lasted till today, I'm all better and getting more better but I'm more excited about the fact that I won't be taking medication anymore. You know why I'm excited about the weekend now, right?
It's Saturday!!!
What's the situation at your place on a day like this? What do you see people do mostly on a Saturday?
For me, it's laundry and house chores!!! I see so many people doing all the work they couldn't do during week days and they seem to me like it's okay like that. Well, it isn't so cool to do all the work on a weekend, I prefer to do my chores little by little during the week days and rest all I can on weekends.
I saw an update on my WhatsApp from a friend having a sentence like this:
If you have money, you will know that Saturdays are not for laundry.
I couldn't help but agree to the sentence, why does it have to be Saturdays for all the house work? You've been working all week days, it's just time to rest and have fun.
Weekends are for relaxing, planning and eating well. Most of us don't get to eat well during the week days because of busy time at our work places. And some hardly rest because they run shifts at work, we've got to take a day out to rest off and that's on a weekend - Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
Weekends are for Shopping. Pay yourself for the work you've done through the week days by doing some shopping, taking a walk and even buying some ice cream. Even some of us who is always one kind of dress because of our work during work days like the doctors, nurses, bankers and others... How about buying other outfits and taking walks with it on weekends?
Weekends are for fun!!! Just free yourself from any stress and enjoy the moment, do things that docents require too much brain work, listen to music and enjoy every bit of the weekend vibe.
I'm not writing all these for my readers alone, I also talking to myself. It's Weekend, let's allow our actions show that it's really weekend - End of work and Start of enjoyment.

Well I !LUV your perspective on the weekend. Though I've worked restaurants most of my life. So weekends tend to be just another day. Though lately I broke free from my routine, and I'm learning what it takes to live a life of balance.
In some ways I feel like everyday can be a Saturday. Yet really The weekend could be any day or days that I choose. Though I appreciate the reminder. Even in this brief moment of freedom, I've found myself struggling between being productive and living. Yet they really should go hand in hand. A nice balance is my goal. Like !PIZZA and !BEER LOL.

Exactly sir, I'm glad that you've broken free from that routine. You've got to enjoy the weekend and any other day but the weekend is most ideal to me though.

Ahhhh. Weekends!😖 Can't remember the last time i had a relaxed weekend. Saturdays are my busy days and you are right about not eating right at work. I hardly have time for breakfast and they don't sell good food at my area. 😭😭
