How Is Your Spending Habit As An Investor?

One thing we can't escape as humans is expenses, no matter how little or much we spend. But of course, we could avoid some unnecessary expenses but not so many are able to do this effectively. I've once made a resolution to only spend when most needed but I ended up spending more than I did before because I felt I needed everything I spend money on at that time.

Becoming an investor changes your spending habit and that is if you'll let it do that because I've seen a person who says he's an investor but he keeps buying things unnecessarily and invest so little (maybe fear of losing too much was involved in this case as well). An investor is bound to spend at one point in time but don't you think an investor spending habit should be different from another who isn't?

I think so too so I'm asking, how is your spending habit as an investor?

What do you think of first when you have money to spend? For me, I tend to pay myself a little and the rest goes into half for my savings and then back to investing again (a form to generate more money) I make to spend on just what I need even though there are times I fall victim of buying what I don't want at that moment.

I can't say I'm a big investor or the best yet but I plan to grow my investment as time goes on so that means, I have to work more on my spending habit to balance things up for my investment story. Spending extravagantly and investing at the beginning isn't a good combination... You can only do both when you have grown your investment to an extent where you know you're financially free and it is achievable.
