Gamer4Life: Valheim - 5/15

Been following @oldfool and his Valheim journey and thought I would pop in some of what I have been working on.

This is an unfinished work, but, my plans call for 3 stories, same as the real life idea, although this is Valheim and the usage and layout will differ than real life. This is based on pre-BoneMass defeat, so wood/stone/iron build.

Front entry with foundry shown here.

A look under the main floor here. This will contain storage and likely some of the crafting, This is the technical basement.

Main floor. I hope to put the most of the crafting and cooking here with some furniture and other things.

Second floor. In real life, there would be 3 very large bedrooms with private baths here, but this is Valheim. It'll be a Viking's Bed Chambers and Trophy hall, along with armor stands.

You can see I have a good view to the north. Took a while to find a meadow i liked that could handle such a massive footprint without much terraforming.

All the pillars are iron pillar reinforced core wood. Same would be true for a real build. the roof, well, I am hoping to pull off some geometric magic. I'll finish off the quick tour with a visual hint, though I intend to expand upon it, since the house requires a roof.

I gotta augh at myself. Killed myself dropping from the roof to come get this shot. You can see my marker right next to the cursor. XD

I hope you enjoyed my little tour to my current distraction. I'll post some updates along the way. Long way to go. Probably take out Bonemass before I'm finished, anyway.

God, my level of construction is that of a novice compared to many hahaha, I see that you already have very defined what you will do on each floor. The spiral construction is on another level :o

Thanks. It's just a matter of ideas and practice. Find some how to build videos on YouTube and take the time to try and duplicate some of them. You will likely find yourself inspired to try some ideas of your own design, based off thoughts triggered from the builds. I rarely get through a how to before it gives me an idea to go run off and try
