Word of the week exotic
Exotic it means something unusual . I'll be talking majorly on exotic species .Exotic species, often referred to as alien 👽 I call them the green guys from outer space, growing from a nonnative, nonindigenous environment, or introduced species, are those that occur in areas outside of their natural geographic range. Vagrant species are those that appear from time to time beyond their normal range and are often confused with exotic species.

Here are some examples of exotic animals listed below

  • Feral Pig
  • Nine-Banded Armadillo
  • Gambian Pouch Rat
  • European Starling
  • Myna Bird
  • Cuban Treefrog
  • Indo-Pacific Gecko
  • Burmese Python
  • Fire Ants
  • Asian Swamp Eel
  • Mayan Cichlid
I'm gonna be picking out random three to say few things about .
I'll pick nine-banded Armadillo .The nine-banded armadillo, or the nine-banded, long-nosed armadillo, is a medium-sized mammal found in North, Central, and South America, making it the most widespread of the armadillos. The armadillo can jump 3–4 ft (91–122 cm) straight in the air if sufficiently frightened, making it a particular danger on roads here's a picture of it

The next animal is myna bird. A myna bird is a member of the family Sturnidae (starlings and mynas) native to Asia. An omnivorous open woodland bird with a strong territorial instinct, the common myna has adapted extremely well to urban environments.

Up next Fire ants . Fire ants are several species of ants in the genus Solenopsis. They are only a minority in the genus, which includes over 200 species of Solenopsis worldwide. Solenopsis are stinging ants, and most of their common names reflect this, for example, ginger ants and tropical fire ants. Many species also are called red ants because of their light brown color, though species of ants in many other genera are so named for similar reasons. Examples include Myrmica rubra and Pogonomyrmex barbatus

Finally I pick Asian swamp eels.Asian swamp eels are not true eels. Swamp eels have a scaleless, elongated body with a tapering tail and blunt snout. Their teeth appear like bristles and they have one V-shaped gill located beneath the head. Swamp eels are sometimes mistaken for native American eels (Anguilla rostrata), although American eels differ in that they have pectoral fins, rayed dorsal, anal and caudal fins, and scales (although embedded). Swamp eels may also be mistaken for lamprey, but these latter fish have no jaws and have ovoid mouths; lampreys also have distinct dorsal and caudal fins and 7 gill openings on each side. The life cycle of the Asian swamp eel takes place solely in freshwater. All young are females. Some females develop into males as adults, however, males can change back to females if female densities are low . To me it's a very weird species

Wow

Such a list of exotic creatures

Asian swamp eels over here is considered dangerous to humans

That is because once it gets in contact with skin, it sucks it's prey of his blood

So, most times, we are afraid to enter water, especially dirty ones, so we don't have such encounters

The most shocking thing about it is that it doesn't die when you crush it except when you sprinkle salt on it

Thank you very much. It gets tiring, but it serve two purposes: communication and education. Not everyone know how to used referenced info or it’s intentional. People who review the DV understand what went wrong and it’s clearly communicated.
