Defensive strategy
Thanks to @calumam for an opportunity to be a part of this challenge and express my thoughts on the topic defensive strategy in the market

What can a market leader do to defend his territory. The leader should apply the military principle of the offensive me. He should set his place and exploit the enemy weakness .

I believe the best form of defense is a good offense. Too be a good market leader you have to look at some tactics and strategy to defend your territory and here are some of it . I got five defensive tactics

• Position defense
• Flank defense
• Premetive defense
• Contraction defense
• Mobile defense
  Position defense:- It is the basic idea of defense is to build and impregnable fortification around ones territory . Defending one's current position or product is a form of marketing myopia .
  Flank defense:- The market leaders not only guard his territory but also erect the Outpost to protect a weak front or possibly serve as an invasion base for counter attack.
  Premetive defense:- A more aggressive defense strategy . It believes to lunch and attack on the offensive side first rather than waiting for them to strike first. Them believe prevention is better than cure

Mobile defense:- This involve the market leader to stretch out his domain over his territory that can serve as a future center for defense and offense .
Contraction defense:- Some company sometimes recognize that they can no longer defend all their territory so therefore giving up weaker territory and assigning resources to stronger territory.
